Just freaking amazing.
I have been waiting for this moment a while now
Let's hope no more dsi dumps when using the classic controller

Thanks tetsuo for testing. Thats why i released it as a beta here for people to test before i commit and if i commit. For now people should just stick to wf 5.4.1 with vidfix i posted a while back.

I can pack the covers in a package and users can unpack it locally without the need for this feature through wiiflow.
The other solution is to use 5.4.1 first and get their covers then upgrade.
Now i think of it we can have two wiiflow versions e.g the cover one can be named wiicoverflow :)

Blackb0x and i both know what the problem is. I didnt compile libwolfssl with the new devkitpro. But the question is will we be able to. And fyi i did compile libcustomfat but not libcustomntfs and libcustomext2. So appears more compile work. But i have a few things higher on the list for now.

Where can I get the 240p output information of msx's plugin? :)
Thanks for pointing at that pull request. It seems a small fix. It wouldn't be hard to fix the plugin. No promise from my part though. Anyone's free to help, the plugin's branch is here : https://github.com/Wiimpathy/bluemsx-wii/commits/PluginVideoOptions

@SoulSpawn Have you actually tested the dol he posted? Is it working correctly for 2 players?

Regarding the devkit upgrade, I salute the efforts. I know we're old men and maybe already affected by Alzheimer's disease but what about the Dosbox bug discussed last year : https://github.com/Fledge68/WiiFlow_Lite/issues/52#issuecomment-451280456
Fixed? I'm afraid that the upgrade might add other similar subtle bugs to other plugins.

I still think you should get some help for compiling from the Devktipro team(@realWinterMute etc.). After all, they force the dev to always use their latest devkit. And it's not always that easy!
But as we can see the support isn't that great : https://github.com/devkitPro/pacman-packages/issues/128

The Dosbox issue seems to be fixed, I had no problems playing doxbox games.
Apart from the cover downloading bug everything seems ok. However, in the older versions, I never had the DSI crash with the Classic Controller.

Yes I tried it and works perfectly with 2 wiimotes. Also on your version 0.3B, when selecting 240p mode, the image is not centered, it goes up on my TV (not happening with other versions without this resolution). Is there any option to center the screen via command line?

@fledge68 I've tried your new version. It doesn't download covers.
I tried deleting a cover for a VC game, reload cache, then tried to re-download it.
I thought this might of been caused by the lib used for networking, but it isn't. Downloading covers and banners works perfectly for Wii and GC games, so I can only assume that there's a bug elsewhere that prevents VC game covers from being downloaded.

You're right. I've found the problem, the cover is downloaded, but after that if I do reload cache it won't work.
BUT if I reboot the console and reload cache.. it works!!

Im assuming this only happens with emu nand covers?
Happens for wii games too. If I reload cache after downloading the cover, the cover is not showed. You have to reboot wiiflow and reload cache again. to make it work.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Strangely, it doesn't happen for GC games. Everything's ok.

@Wiimpathy I'd like to ask you something as I think you are the only one that can manage to do it.
is it possible to compile a CPS 1 and CPS2 retroarch core that can save hiscores? I can save them with the regular FBA core.

Also, if you could do it with version 1.7.5 would be perfect, as newer versions have a problem when saving remap configurations and this one works great on my wii.

I know this is probably too much to ask for but, if you can do it, then my wii would be my complete retro arcade station!!

Wanted to report another bug (sorry fledge, not trying to beat you down more). The ScummVM cache bug that existed in 5.4.0 is present in 5.4.1 using Wiimpathys OpenBOR plugin. Reverting back to older revisions of WFL fixes the bug just as it did before.

A bit too much indeed.:)
Untill now, I didn't know anything about how hiscore was working, never tested either. It looks like a general issue for these cores.
Only fba2012 seems to have hiscore support but only for a few games.

To implement hiscore in all the fba2012 cores, one need to add a flag in every damn driver! And not all games are guaranteed to support this. You should also need a specific hiscore.dat. Theorically this one.
hiscore.dat explained here: https://www.fbalpha.com/view/138/

Not even sure that'd be enough. So in short, I can't do that. To be honest, I don't think I'll post any retroarch builds anymore.

And what's this remap saving bug? When does it happen exactly?(version?) All fba2012 cores?
Pff, such a pain to debug...

Are you talking about 5.4.1 or 5.4.2beta with latest devkitpro?

And what do you mean scummvm cache using openbor? Arent those 2 different plugins?
