sounds like you are using the official wiiflow 4.2 version. plugin partition selection was fixed in r1008 after the official release.

Does anybody know if the game install in wiiflow has been fixed after 4.2 final? I've tried with several Gamecube games and Skylanders Swap Force but it crashes as it starts everytime. If anybody knows that would be great. Thanks a milli.

TOW420 you're not the only that mentioned having problems installing games recently. Maybe fix or fledge can try to reproduce and look at that when they get some time.

pff, i was hoping that was fixed finally, i tested it numerous times...but it seems like every time it is fixed , it is temporarely...

I do have a remark though, IOS58 still seems to have issues, for those that have problems with ripping/installing, please try it with IOS249 first.
Also, please check your drive first if you have already tried with IOS58, delete the iso (+ folder) if it is there and do scan your drive for corrupted files.

Anyone with problems connecting to FTP server under windows (Filezilla - passive mode)?
looks like it's not working with 1025 and 1026 (using win7SP1) it used to work before
not sure though if it's a Windows issue since I restarted the PC today - been hibernating for ages

Edit: Also in WinXP-SP2 used both automatic and static IP

Maybe the ip changed, sometimes that happens when the lease has expired.
*edit* Oh...read it too quickly, you used static too..

as for the game installing code dump. I'll look into it. I do remember before 4.2 came out i installed 2 games and it code dumped on me but at the end of installation and when i restarted the games were there fine. LIke Etheboss said it might be ios58 related and try force cios 249.

Update: I tried WiiXplorer and FTP worked then tried 1026 again and it worked too

Your best bet would be to ask here I would also like to see a cover for that channel. It's one of the few that didn't stop working like the news and weather channels etc..

Can a dol be launched directly from the sourceflow/source_menu?
I mean - rather than launch a coverflow, can you click on a 'source' and it just runs the plugin .dol ?

On another thread, someone asked for a dol for priiloader that just booted whatever was in the optical drive, Fix kindly answered:

It'll bootup your wii and gc discs based on my wiiflow code, if it cant find a disc or fails on something it will try to bootup the wiiflow forwarder, then the homebrew channel and then the system menu. Just install it to priiloader and set priiloader to autoboot that file.

Why Bother?

We could get rid of the DVD icon on the wiiflow pop-up menu

the one that pop's up when you hover at the bottom of the screen -
and replace it with a sort button, or a categories button, or both

I'm scared to run Wiiflow anymore (even though it is my favorite looking loader) as I ran it for the first time on my Wii U the other day, installed a game and it formatted my drive (wiping all of my games) to ntfs and installed the game to a wbfs file on the ntfs drive.. Has anyone seen this? This really stinks for me as many of the games were for my kids and i cant find the disc for 2 of them they play all the time.
