Does anyone else experience this when they first start wiiflow?

It goes away as soon as i move the covers or if i change to a different theme. note - this doesn't happen when i use r451 or r453. Just wanted to know if it's just me or other people experience this.
it happens here too but randomly i believe
I have never had that happen to me yet.....maybe it could have something to do with the card ?

Alright, so i didn't have a lot of time to create a "new" source menu icon set yet, so here's what i did.

-Applied the 90x90 images onto a 120x90 canvas.
-Added a Yabause icon. (plugin was included in last Yabause release, fyi)
-Fixed the wii2600, wii7800, and colecovision icons (included them by accident last release O.o)
-I included my source_menu.ini, but i figured my magic numbers were probably different than yours, so i deleted those numbers. If you had decided to use the same numbers as i had previously, just refrain from copying over the .ini file and just add-on the yabause as button 28 if you'd like. The rest of the .ini is unchanged.

Get it here:
source_menu - Frames & Hover Buttons v2 by mastershoes (120x90).rar

Also, if you never got the updated emuflows (4:3 fix) here ya go:
EmuFlows Updated 05-28-12.rar

get them here and replace the old ones: http://www.mediafire...35zej5lzr1tdv6a

Enjoy :)
sorry to sound harsh, i hope this isn't what they look like..(home brew).. those look like crap . all fuzzy an out of focus.. i like the ones from before they looked cleaner.
first homebrew is from GX, second and 3rd from mastershoes set, I just copied them inside the new frame as fledge asked. No effects were applied so clarity is preserved.
I'll try to make a new one from scratch today.

Found another little bug that causes codedumps on loading Wiiflow. Yeterday I started using DUTag and Wiiflow sometimes changes the line 'gamercards=dutag' to 'gamercards=wiinnertag|dutag' in the wiiflow.ini file. Has anyone the same issue?

here's a shot of some icons in your set
As you notice the dark consoles are hard to notice on black background, I guess it will be better if you have a light colored background for your set (removing the transparency)

Here's the new homebrew icon made from scratch, very clean this time:

found that bug in Wiiflow Advanced long ago. Miigotu fixed it but I never tested on this end and it slipped my mind. It's definitely a bug that should be looked at ;-)

If you'd like to flow around wiiflow rather than fiddle about with menus and checkboxes, chiggedy check out issues 75 and 76 on googlecode.

lets at least talk it through before they kill it
I'm with spacepimp on this. Wiiflow has become a little clunkier with so many new features. The B back to source would get rid of arcane button presses and be much more intuitive. Source means origin, therefore we should be able to start out there and get back to it without having to think too hard about what button to press on the controller and where to point. His source flow and folder structure idea sounds good too, and I think it would make Wiiflow easier and more fun to use. Some people are saying Wiiflow is fine the way it is, because they don't feel being bold and trying something new, but in the end, aren't all things made of pure awesomeness the result of big imaginations, innovative decisions, and the dedication and desire to make something better? Sure wiiflow is "fine the way it is" but should we be content with "good enough"? I await the day that Wiiflow is the best that it can be for everyone, and there's nothing left to improve upon. Once we have a final product, those of us that enjoy the magic of video games can actually sit down and play them, instead of always tinkering and searching for the latest updates. :)
Thanks for taking the time to look at the issues and add your thoughts to the debate. I also agree with a lot you have to say!
p.s. I reckon the ratio of time spent playing games to time spent larking about with homebrew is about 400:1 :P

An potentially easy ;) way to increase the usability of wiiflow's locking capabilites. Lock games by defining which categories are locked in catagories.ini, and perhaps which sources in sources.ini also. The ini -editing user is then free to define subsets of locked games at will. A further development would be to make this possible via the interface.

If anyone else likes the idea, i'll pop a request on googlecode.

Hope I don't look like too much of a dick here but I've been away a while & things have happened....
Is there somewhere I can download current builds of wiiflow mod? I got r464 from this thread but people are talking about r465 - r467...
Thanks & "Go Team"

yes you can compile it yourself, or come join us on irc on #wiiflow on abjects

nice work spayrosam the bootmii style looks good on the dark background, however too much text effect (text is v. hard to read) try to make a simple logo on the background and I think they'll look much better
:)
i like the txt style better . it's a lot cleaner.(just outer glow bugs me). don't get me wrong mastershoes/fledge,an yours look nice. it's just personal pref.

I have wiiflow 2.2 installed. i want to update to wiiflow 3.1 how do i do that? just replace the willflow folder in the apps folder with the new version?

Yea I know about it, if no | is found it codedumps. You can leave it with wiinertag and dutag just fine, because only if some valid number is entered it will be used, as long as no valid number is provided it will just ignore wiinnertag ;)
