this is not a bug of wiiflow...but a (bad, IMHO) feature.

you have to edit source\gc\gc.c and remove (or comment) line 160 "DMLCfg->Config |= DML_CFG_ACTIVITY_LED;"
then recompile wiiflow by yourself.

no option available to disable it without recompiling (but really hope it will come one day because it's a really bad idea to use this as an activity led) :ninja:

man i don't know how to compile a source( stupid me.).. it wouldn't be so bad if i didn't have the clear blue case from xcm. so that even the little leds show an not just the dvd light bar. so the whole front faceplate of my wii lights up.lol.. i guess forknow until it's fixed i'lljust go inside priiloader an block the dvd lights all together so they don't light up at all.
no biggie.

Yeah, as you can see in DML Booter it's an option that DML has but WiiFlow has it always on. I personally like the effect, plus it's interesting to know when it's actually reading from the "disk" but I can see the potential medical implementations it has on certain people so that's a good point to bring up. The only other option until such an option is added is to just cover the wii with a sheet or something.

If I use 3rd party classic controller I have several crash (Code Dump) in Wiiflow-mode any way to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

PS: I have issues in HBC too whit 3rd party classic controller.
I tried a third party numchuck and it also causes nothing but problems. Like it is randomly moving the joystick.
The joy of buying third party stuff.
I bought a third party ps2 controller that did not have true functionality on my PS2 also. Nothing but original from here on.

I have seen an odd problem with some nunchucks and Wiimotes only in Wiiflow... if you have the nunchuck attached when you run Wiiflow it looks like the movement/selection buttons are being pressed dozens of times a second. I end up having to disconnect the nunchuck to regain control. Only happens on certain nunchuck/Wiimote combinations though. The nunchucks and Wiimotes work fine in games but in Wiiflow it sometimes goes nuts.

I had this problem the other day with Tomb Raider Anniversary, and now today with Wipeout 2. When I install the games using wiiflow mod, they install 100%, but won't launch. I then look at the file and it says "game name [title number].wbfs.tmp". With TRA, I removed the tmp extension and it launched and played just fine, but wipeout 2 wouldn't play at all. I tried installing it with Wiiflow advanced, and it installed and played just fine. I have the d2x v9 beta, but I don't think that matters, as it worked with advanced.

I've compiled the lates r308 without this line. Here's a link to download it: http://www.mediafire.com/?8l7926iol37y9hi

296 I think
Yeah, I used to have trouble installing things and it would be somewhere in the middle (Say like 65% for example) and it would just jump to 100% (I assumed because of a disk read error or something.) and it would leave an incomplete game on my hard drive (according to Wii Backup Manager) but I haven't actually installed a game for a while (several versions back) so I'm glad to hear that it's been fixed now.

I originally bought my Wii used so I don't really know which accessories are original and not. I at least know one of the two Wiimotes is third party. I also have one nunchuck and one MotionPlus brick accessories. The MotionPlus, unfortunately, has recently been attached to the Third party Wiimote.

I'm not sure if that was the reason but I think the last two times I had the MotionPlus attached (I don't always pay attention and I don't remember if it was with or without the nunchuck) WiiFlow just flipped out.
What happened the first time was DSI errors (plural - like at the same time.) all the little memory addresses. In the errors kept changing at a rate of about 2 times a second (which I had never seen before.)
The second time It was on the WiiFlow loading screen. It would load and then flash about one frame of something, maybe coverflow, I couldn't quite make it out, but then it would go right back to the loading screen and repeat. I don't remember if I turned it off or it ended in an error.

Again, I'm not SURE if I have used those accessories since then or if I did there would be unavoidable be an error. This has only happened since installing r280 but I don't know if that's related, either.

I have seen the problem with much earlier versions. I assumed it was some generic library problem like the one a couple months back that didn't allow the newer Wiimote controllers to work.

Does anyone have a Carbonix-like channel loader for WiiFlow-mod that supports 3TB drives yet? I seem to remember hearing that the source for it wasn't available but does anyone have access to the graphics/sound to create one that is 3TB compatible?

I ASSUME the DOL could be extracted from the WAD and injected into another channel ... that's my best guess.

I am not sure what piece is where. Is the 3TB support in the channel or the dol? If the graphic/sound assets from the carbonix theme could be extracted that would be the best - unless those graphics are copyrighted because of the inclusion of the game images.

What is the current naming convention for emulated game covers?

I have some N64 roms in my USB:\wii64\roms folder:

1080 Snowboarding (Japan, USA) (En,Ja).v64.zip
Bug's Life, A (USA).v64.zip
Yoshi's Story (USA) (En,Ja).v64.zip

In my USB:\wiiflow\plugins folder my wii64.ini has this:

coverflow=wii64

I've tried placing the cover art in the USB:\wiiflow\boxcovers\wii64 and USB:\wiiflow\covers\wii64 folder but they don't show up on the emu screen.

So I rebuilt the cache by pressing B on the options button and it still didn't display the images.

The graphics are named:

1080 Snowboarding (Japan, USA) (En,Ja).v64.zip.png
Bug's Life, A (USA).v64.zip.png
Yoshi's Story (USA) (En,Ja).v64.zip.png

I then tried decompressing the games and removing the zips. The names are:

1080 Snowboarding (JU) [!].z64
A Bug's Life (U) [!].z64
Yoshi's Story (U) [!].z64

And the graphics are named:

1080 Snowboarding (JU) [!].z64.png
A Bug's Life (U) [!].z64.png
Yoshi's Story (U) [!].z64.png

I tried removing the .z64 from the names and putting the graphics in USB:\wiiflow\boxcovers\wii64 and USB:\wiiflow\covers\wii64 folders and then rebuilding the cache but it had no effect.

I finally gave up on the distinct emu folders and put the games in the USB:\wiiflow\boxcovers folder and the covers came up but were stretched so I moved them to the USB:\wiiflow\covers folder and rebuilt the cache and it showed up correctly.

I then changed the plugin .ini coverflow item to wiiflow/covers/wii64 and moved the graphics there and rebuilt the cache but it didn't find it so I think there is a bug in the plugins code where it isn't picking up the coverflow folder to use for that emu's graphics.

Also - after pressing B-option to rebuild the cache, each time I switch back to the Wii games coverflow it takes well over a minute as it looks like it is rebuilding the main Wii games coverflow cache.

In my USB:\wiiflow\plugins folder my wii64.ini has this:

coverflow=wii64
Ï assume this is a typo. You're using "coverFolder" not "coverflow" right?
Sorry yes that is a typo. Here is the wii64.ini:

[PLUGIN]
magic=57493634
coverColor=ffffff
coverFolder=wii64
fileTypes=.n64|.v64|.z64|.zip
romDir=wii64/roms
dolFile=wii64.dol
ReturnLoader=yes

Download the wad for the channel with 3TB support (from wiiflow-mod google code)
You need to open the Carbonik like channel in customiizemii go to options > new dol > browse > load dol file and select your 3TB wad
Press "Create wad" and save your Carbonik channel with 3 TB support :)

This is the way i would like to see the emulators done with a menu system like this one , that can seperate our roms in our emulators.. http://youtu.be/aJAySTHAcuE
