is everyone here running Fat 32 for their homebrews for first partitiion and second partititon is NTSC wii games only,

cause no one has mentioned having a working setup with fat for homebrews and fat for their games that i have read and i see open problems reported not working on google with my problems still... anyone confirm working 2 fat partitions with the new rev415 up to the new mods from Fix94

If so ,, anyone recommend a software that can convert fat to ntsc without losing the games .

I have a single FAT32 partition on my HDD and I can confirm it works for Wii games as well as homebrew.

you can confirm your setup is working with wiiflow rev415 up with emulated nand , and dml also ,,

Fix94 from what he said he is running a single drive with only one partition that is Fat32,,
your setup is Fat32 , NTSC as your second , all working with wiiflow ,,
my setup is 2 fat32 partitions and my emulated nand works always has ,, and my games always has ,, until i converted my second partition from WBFS to FAT32 and now wiiflow only reconginzes my emulated nand and can no longer see my games ,,, but usb loader works perfect and so does CFG ,,, and this has been reported on google page ,,

its is the reason i posted on here to find out if one of the older versions still worked so we can figure out which version broke ...

on my end i can not select any other drive other than usb1 it is blank when i reset everything as suggested ,, then i select my drive which only offers usb1 , which only see my emulated nand,,,, my games are on usb2 but can't select it..

Interesting, well I ordered a USB Gecko today, so as soon as I have it I can really start debugging things like that :)
BTW uploaded new version, it should fix booting retail gamecube games with audio streaming, the solution is still very rough but working (it doesn't even work in cfg-loader! :P)

So once DML is installed u can no longer play retail gc discs OR backup gc discs, correct? Can you just install DML to you emulated nand and have wiiflow read it from there so that you can use your REAL nand to use noegamma for retail/backup discs like normal?

So, I have Wiiflow on my SD-card, the newest one modded by FIX, and it still can't find my USB-unit, which is a single partition of FAT32. USBLoader GX finds it fine, but some games loads slow, and I would like to see if Wiiflow runs it better, plus, Wiiflow looks much better.

Holy crap - I never paid any attention to this DML stuff before, but I'm sure as hell going to now.
Thanks for all your work FIX94 on this! Can't wait to test it!

With DML r21 you can play games from SD and retail gc discs, this is mainly the reason why I have it set up. Currently you need to install DML on your real NAND but I may will look into it if you can also boot it from emu NAND.
Thanks for the positive feedback!

yea, somehow running it from emulated nand would be cool. btw, why is it that DML prevents you from being allowed to load gc backup discs? hope this isnt a stupid question.

From what i can remember you need to have wiiflow and emunand on a different partition OR the Wii games and emunand..not sure which one it was, i forgot..

I was able to use DML with Wiiflow, the problem seems to have been caused by my SD card (No Idea why maybe my .ini?), I used a different one and it works just like in Postloader. :D

EDIT: Nevermind, I suck. It wasn't my SD card it was the shrunk ISO Animal Crossing, everytime I load it turns off my Wii, then I try Sonic Adventure and it works. :0

Finished this gamecube retail stream audio solution now, it's very clean and I'm happy about it lol, I'll now look if it's possible to install DML into emu nand that it's still possible to use the regular cMIOS on real nand.

Great to see development is moving forward at good pace!
However, I'm a bit confused: are FIX94 efforts a branch in the project?
I hope everything will be rolled into the main codebase.
Thanks.

We'll move soon to the main svn with everything.

great.

as you already killed a lot of bugs, maybe you can also look at those two ;) ?

1/ the tricky one :

this erase bug happens only when installing games in the wbfs folder (with no sub-folder). I tried to explain it to Miigotu months ago, but he didn't seem to care about, sadly :(
everything works great if games are in sub-folders...but not everybody uses (or wants to use) sub-folders.

2/ the "easy" one (I think) :

when installing games > 4GB to an NTFS partition, wiiflow automatically splits WBFS files in two....should'nt wiiflow detects what type of partition is used and splits (or not) the files ?

thanks for all your work...IOS Reload works nicely now, GC with DML too :moogle:

I actually have both my partitions fat32 (32k sectors / clusters, whatever) ant it seems to work fine. I haven't really run any NAND emulation yet but it sees my NAND folder from uLoader on USB1 just fine. I have my homebrew on USB1 as well and wiiflow settings and games on USB2 (all in wbfs / wbf1 format for fat32 file size issues) and they seem to work great (except for Rygar but I think I should try changing the IOS on that when I have time.). I just try to keep everyting

When I saw DML mentioned, I looked it up and WOAH, so cool. Glad this is going along, I'm gonna have to download it and try it right away. ... From what I saw, though, it was meant to be done in SNEEK with emulated NAND ... Wiiflow works ONLY with real NAND for this then?

Anyway, Just and Idea, even before installing and looking at this: To get a good default cover for GC games, it would be nice for it to be able to actually get the banner from the game image itself and stick it onto the Wiiflow cover. I've always thought it would be cool if Wiiflow could have done the same thing with homebrew, too, just grab the HBC banner and tack it onto a temporary Wiiflow box. That way I wouldn't have to go through so much effort to get a good cover for them. Just a throught but keep up the good work, this is great stuff.

Gotta go buy myself a really big SDHC card, I'm excited.
