I'm using cIOS rev17. Stack dump for me also.

80ccb298 --> 80ccb224 --> 80bf18a4 --> 80b90904 --> 80b90af0 --> 80b90e74 --> 80b90f60 --> 80b9d500 --> 80be352c

Hi folks, been using the new beta, and I've not seen a WBFS -1 error, but its been replaced with either a screen showing the back of the Wii, followed by a screen saying no games found, or goes straight to the no games found screen, I then have to press reset and it boots up fine. This is when booting the Wii from cold via PriiLoader. I never had this issues with R42, and the WBFS -1 started with R43.

Can someone add this to the bug list to see if we can get it rectified, I know I'm not the only one with the issue?

Wii Sys Menu 4.2, USB Drive with 4Gb Fat first and 496Gb WBFS, nothing stored on SD card, and booted via PriiLoader

P.S. I get a stack dump too when choosing the channel Button (I can upload a photo of the full dump if required):

80ccbbe0 --> 80ccbb6c --> 80bf1e28 --> 80b90810 --> 80b909fc --> 80b90d80 --> 80b90e6c --> 80b9dc74 --> 80be38d0

That bug has already been fixed..... Please report if you find a problem with that button, and no, don't report if it doesnt work because it doesnt show up or something. It is automatically (along with the return to selection button) hidden if you have ios57 as the base for your cIOS. IOS57 doesnt have the correct nand access to read channel data (es_identify)

Edit: its not fixed, YET, but it is a very odd bug and seems to only happen on a few wii's when the base ios for the cios is 37 (i think)... I'm having a hard time debugging it because it doesnt happen to me no matter what cios/bas combo i use. Instead of removing it from the release i think we may add an ini line to enable or disable it from showing, being hidden by default. Hopefully i can find where it is before the release because this is a big step towards some other things I would like to see us able to do with wiiflow.

Mugto, it is not only a cios 37 based problem. I also tried IOS 222 V4 based 38 instead of IOS 222 V4 base 37 merged with 38 and it still stack dumps on the channel selection button.

jodur, regardless of what base iso you use for 222 v4 it reports to the app that is is 38 because of them being merged.

As for everyone else, please try the beta for r70+... r-win has made a change to the channels code which most likely will fix this, but we have noone to test it to be sure..

Question to all the devs...

In the spirit of making "My part" i ask what can i do to help?

I was a beta tester for Hibernatus, and made the portuguese translation (original one..at least).
Are you in need of an extra help?
Come talk to Jiiwah on irc, or pm him, he has a wiki set up with all of the new strings that we needs translated @ http://wiki.tgames.fr.nf/wiki/Utilisateur:Jiiwah

Thank you Pakatus, I just added your portuguese translation to language.ini.

r-win and/or Miigotu, here is the latest language.ini

I use the latest R43 version (IOS 222 boot.dol) and I want to know if there is a way to change the default IOS for running games to IOS-223. The problem is that all the games in the 2nd WBFS partition on the USB HDD ran only if I switch the IOS from «DEFAULT» to «IOS-223» in the game settings. I want a way to set globaly the IOS to 223 for all games ... Please someone help !

Seems odd, but for some reason the dump when loading channels has to do with someone's internet channel. We did a bunch of tests and are still testing to find out why, but it seems that if he removed the internet channel, deleted his wiiflow.ini, and started wiiflow he then does not get the dump when clicking the channels button. ALSO, if he then installs the internet channel from wad... he doesnt get a dump. Logically this doesnt make sense to me. He is on 249 r17 so that may have a play in it.

The title ID of the internet channel he installed is HADE v512, but it was installed from either online or from gamedisc.

So i suggest either deleting your internet channel and reinstalling it from wad, or dont use the channels button. As of right now, the channels button will be hidden by DEFAULT in the release, in order to use it you need to set a line in your ini to hidechannelsbutton=no

Hopefully we can make this work without modifications because this button is a very important step needed in order to do some special things with wiiflow in the furture.

mugoto just tested R74 and the channels button. As you stated if you are running base 57 the button will not show up even if you set hidechannelsbutton=yes in wiiflow.ini. I installed 249 v19 as base 38 and the button appeared. It seems to work fine for me. However my Internet Channel was installed from a wad and has the title id of HADE. I do not show the v512 and do not know what version of HADE I am running. I believe it is the latest but am not sure how to check the version.

I also tested playing *.iso files directly and this has been fixed. Some folks were saying that this will only work for NTFS partitions but I have my games on a FAT32 partition and I am able to play *.iso's just fine. Thanks for fixing that.

I have an unrelated question regarding the Default Video Mode in the General Settings. I have a NTSC system and have this value set to Default. Is there any harm in setting this to Auto Patch? I currently change the Video Mode in the game settings to Auto Patch for all PAL games. I figure that if I set this value globally for all games then I will not have to change it for every new PAL game that I install. However I do not know the implications of running an NTSC game with the Auto Patch set. Will this cause me any problems? Thanks...

I'm not sure if this is something you would like to implement or not (maybe a setting in the ini), but a feature to delay accessing the hd by like 1 second would be great. I am using a Western Digital external and have my wii setup to go straight to wiiflow. If i'm doing it from a cold start, wiiflow accesses it just a hair before it is ready, and thus it doesn't find it and I have to restart. I have setup a number of my friends wii's that way, and that seems to be an issue with all of them. Maybe there is a setting already and I just haven't seen it.

I am running R74 Beta. There seems to be a problem with cheat codes. I turn on Ocarina for a game and then download the cheat codes. By default the codes are all turned off. I then turn on all of the codes. Once the codes are turned on there seems to be no way of turning them off. I turn them all off and then apply the changes but when I come back in they are all turned on again. The changes do not stick. This seems to also cause a problem with the Ocarina setting for a game. I believe this is directly related to the individual codes not being able to be turned off. If I have Ocarina turned off and turn off all the individual codes, then the Ocarina setting gets switched to on. This is probably how it should work. When turning individual codes on/off, if all codes are off then Ocarina should be set to off if at least one code is on the Ocarina should be set to on. I suspect that once on/off is fixed for the individual codes then Ocarina will behave correctly.

I'd be happy to do this for you possibly tomorrow, i have a PAL 4.2 Wii and the internet channel was downloaded from the Wii Shop, I posted my Stack dump on the previous page. I've never extracted a wad before but how hard can it be!

I'll work it out and then post back with the details.

This is indeed a known bug, but I totally forgot about it. Since it was a small and easy bug, it's fixed now. The Ocarina on/off switch will now be switched accordingly with the cheat codes menu, so you don't have to switch them on or off manually anymore. Also, the gct gets deleted now when no cheat codes are activated.

Excellent. You can also just give us the content of the /title/00010002/ folder.

I mentioned this to r-win on IRC earlier, it seems its alraedy been fixed and will be in the next release. Which should be bug free
smile.gif
I also mentioned adding a way to re-download the txt file, but it will not be in this next release as he is not adding new features/buttons, now is only fixing any bugs found.

r-win, thanks for fixing the cheats bug and all the others you fixed as well. I have found another problem with cheats. It is with the nightmare Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. I downloaded and activated cheats for this game, there are only two cheats. If I enable them the game will not play. It goes immediately to black screen and I have to restart the Wii to recover. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but just thought I should pass it on.
