I talked to spidy1000 and have the link for downloading trailers but need to post them on the wiki

also thanks nibb - nibb's fanart are in alphabetical folders which I plan on using for the wiki as well.

First check your custom_banners folder in the wiiflow.ini general section and make sure it matches
Second try using Fledge's Banner Downloader tool to download "all" or "missing" banners in one click, this tool will also display the verbose summary in the end (i.e. whether download was successful or not), if you have trouble let me know.
Link to fledge's tool: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jcc59ml76vb8spp/VOmGAS7jgh/Extracted/apps/wf_banner_downloader
copy these files to apps\WFBD folder and run from HBC

Thought I'd finally get around to testing Wiiflow with the latest changes. Tried adding a user to File explorer, but it's not showing up. here's my ini entry.
[EXPLORER/USER1]
background_texture=exbg.png
color=#FFBA00FF
effect_scale_x=0
effect_scale_y=0
effect_x=0
effect_y=0
elmstyle=
font=
font_line_height=0
font_size=0
font_weight=0
height=460
style=
width=620
x=10
y=10

Also tried adding next/prev buttons, to no avail. What did I miss?
[EXPLORER/PREV_BTN]
click_sound=
effect_scale_x=0
effect_scale_y=1
effect_x=-200
effect_y=0
elmstyle=
height=100
hover_sound=
texture_normal=btnprev.png
texture_selected=btnprevs.png
width=100
x=0
y=190

EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY I can't get any wii or gamecube games to launch. When I launch a wii game, the loading bar hangs on the first part for a few seconds, then loads all the way and hangs on black screen. Completely clean install D2xv10 from Masterpiece. I was able to fix this problem by rehacking my wii, not that anyone cares. But my above statement still stands.

Thanks for the reply Abz.
I did what you said and it's saving the .bnr files in the custom banner folder but when I select a different game it don't come back up. After following your instructions I tried the banner downloader and it's still a no go. When I go in it and select either download all or missing covers I get the error message 'not enough memory!' everytime.
Is there anything here I'm forgeting or perhaps it's not working properly cuz I'm using a 4.1.4 beta?
Thanks for your time.

Edit: Scratch that, after forcing it to download several times I finally got it.
Again thanks for your help Abz

@ all: new bug (default, orchid and gothic are affected may be other themes but not carbonik)

To reproduce the issue, please try to dowload gametdb.
you must return to the page 1/6 of the parameters.

re-try download gametdb, nothing happens.

You'll notice that the back button is a leave button, clic on, it transform in back button.

And the texte "cancel...." (like [DOWNLOAD/MESSAGE 1 or 2] appears

Wii blocked, cool !

Why [EXPLORER/NEXT_BTN] and [EXPLORER/PREV_BTN] instead of[EXPLORER/PAGE_BTN], [EXPLORER/PAGE_MINUS] and [EXPLORER/PAGE_PLUS]?

Another ascertainment on EXPLORER page :

* Explorer page (file explorer) is displayed as :

1) EXPLORER/ENTRY 0 (...) (in red)
2) EXPLORER/ENTRY 1 (in blue)
3) EXPLORER/ENTRY 2 (in green)
4) EXPLORER/ENTRY 3
5) EXPLORER/ENTRY 4
6) EXPLORER/ENTRY 5
7) EXPLORER/ENTRY 6
8) EXPLORER/ENTRY 7
plus EXPLORER/NEXT_BTN and EXPLORER/PREV_BTN

* Explorer page (nandemu) like this :

1) EXPLORER/SELECTED_FOLDER (in yellow)
2) EXPLORER/ENTRY 8 (...) (in orange)
3) nothing
4) EXPLORER/ENTRY 2
5) EXPLORER/ENTRY 3
6) EXPLORER/ENTRY 4
7) EXPLORER/ENTRY 5
8) EXPLORER/ENTRY 6
plus EXPLORER/NEXT_BTN and EXPLORER/PREV_BTN

Now with screens and color

explorer1.png

explorer2.png

In the second screen, it is easy to see that ENTRY 1 is not displayed. And ENTRY 2 is ENTRY 1, ENTRY 3 is ENTRY 2... For finish, ENTRY 7 is ENTRY 6 and is missing an ENTRY (snes9xgx).

So 2 questions:

why add ENTRY 8 ? ENTRY 0 can not serve ?
why an entry lag ?

forgot to mention for r940 add category= to any source menu btn that's a plugin. This should be what Wiimpathy wanted.

and for those of you that moved your theme related images and ini into the theme folder - sorry but you need to move them to a subfolder of wiiflow/source_menu/ and name that subfoler the same as the theme folder.

mamule - I put the theme code you gave me on IRC into carbonik and this is what I got

I changed ENTRY8 x and y to the same as ENTRY1 x and y and this is what I got
you might have other EXPLORER stuff in your theme that you may need to delete or you really need to redo your boot.dol for wiiflow to make sure its the most recent

Haha that's funny, yes that's actually how I use to have it before, it's much easier to update this way and more organized as well IMO. Thanks for the heads up fledge68, back to ironing out my setup.

EDIT: BTW fledge68 just seen some of the additions over the last few revs (still @935) and I must say those are some magnificent additions and optimizations you've added recently, great stuff man! :mthr:

Can't wait to compile and test what I can out. Obviously all theme related stuff is way over my head but there's plenty of people here that I'm sure can really enjoy and benefit from your fixes, which in turn I'll enjoy when they release they're theme-ing ingenuity.

Tested Mios installation to real nand via File explorer and everything is working great as expected.
Next step: add under general section: "mios wads location=..." where DM.wad, DML.wad, QFUSB.wad and QFSD.wad are located
and add to Gamecube mode settings "Launch Method= Devo, DM/QF Manual and DM/QF Auto" this will not only make use of the new feature but will also solve the issue that was reported many times before where DM has to be set for each game when Devo loader is there.

Thanks again devs for all the hard work :)

I updated the wiki with the trailer vids and fanart supplied by Spidy1000 and Nibb.

unfortunately I just tried a trailer and as MassiveRican pointed out they don't play very well. sound is horrible and video quality is very low. Hopefully Fix94 will find the time to look into it and fix it. But don't get your hopes up - It's probably not top priority

It'd be nice if there were some kind of progress indicator on wad install instead of pointer freezing. Not necessary, I guess, but it would be nice. About the explorer Why are files/folders are not in ABC order?
