Ok guys,
here's my modded "Source_menu Reference Table" originally made by @mastershoes in both rtf and pdf formats

I added "Rompath" column and my newsource menu images for genplus-retroarch

The main purpose here is to have all source buttons working without having duplicate roms
Parent icon ex:Genplus-GX will display all Sega games while Sega-CD icon will only show these games as it is supposed to.

Please let me know if we need to make any further adjustment, when done I'll edit the ini files and @fledge68 can add this to the Wiki too if he wishes to

rtf: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?vi3wvix1awtgric
pdf: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?dpkito5jkj0jdn4

Edit: @Fix94 how many folders deep can the file scanner go? for instance is this a valid path: vbagx/roms/GAMBATTE/GBC

Thanks a lot
Abz :)

just got a quick / lazy question,
can wiiflow be configured to load in Gamecube view on startup?
(I'm currently using r615 with GC games from SD)

thx

Thanks but is it also crashing for you when exiting Wiiflow back to the System Menu?
I didn't keep the dol, went back to 776 and still finalizing the plugin inis with an alternate more practical rom paths.
I'll be testing latest betas after finishing the work at hand.
:)

Cool, thanks. I'm backtracking to 776 as well. Darn, 781 fixed the missing button problems.

just checked and 781 went back to SM just fine. did that for you :P
back to 776 now :)

I finished updating the ini files for all plugins, I'll release an update soon.
I only have 1 issue. when all plugins are used at once WF is stuck in an endless cycle of blackscreen-boot logo when entering the emumode.
I'll try t find the culprit ini and fix it if possible.
If all goes well I'll release the Masterpiece edition later

keep u posted

Edit: Nothing wrong, looks like WF has a certain limit that was reached maybe "9999" covers
@Fix94 is that correct?

Here's the update (included inis + corrected reference table): http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?fb1c1xh2vf58i5d

just replace the inis and use the default rom paths

Tip: If Wiiflow hangs/or is stuck loading boot animation endlessly then you have too much games!!!
so move some ini files to "unused" folder
Since many games are displayed twice or even more times you can move the ini files for emus that run same games/systems like vbanext&gambatte and keep the one you use i.e. vbagx for example.
It might take some trial and error but when you're below the limit all should work fine.

Abz :)

Just wondering, is there an app that allows you to manage NMM saves and transfer them to/from gc memcards? Or could this functionality be integrated into wiiflow some how?

Hey guys, for "custom_titles.ini" could I use this to rename properly my CPS1/CPS2 sets?

Example:

19xx = 19XX: The War Against Destiny (USA 951207)
19xxa = 19XX: The War Against Destiny (Asia 951207)
19xxb = 19XX: The War Against Destiny (Brazil 951218)
19xxd = 19XX: The War Against Destiny (USA 951207 Phoenix Edition) (Bootleg)
19xxh = 19XX: The War Against Destiny (Hispanic 951207)
19xxj = 19XX: The War Against Destiny (Japan 951225)
19xxjr1 = 19XX: The War Against Destiny (Japan 951207)
1944 = 1944: The Loop Master (USA 000620)
1944d = 1944: The Loop Master (USA 000620 Phoenix Edition) (Bootleg)
1944j = 1944: The Loop Master (Japan 000620)
armwar = Armored Warriors (Euro 941024)

Like he said, not sure if that works.
Even if it did, the other settings files use a little bit more than just the name to rename stuff.
For example, supposing it would work with NES titles it would be something like this
fceugx/mario.nes=Super Mario Bros.
and not
mario=Super Mario Bros.
(the plugin name ... or magic number, I can't remember, ... and then the file name with extension. Also, no spaces before and after the = sign. I'm basing this off of my best memory from the categories file but you could always just open your categories file and check to see what format's being used.)
You can always try it that way but no promises.

SPEAKING OF TITLES
I noticed last night that WiiFlow (r776) is using folder name rather than file name on screen for plugins. Most files I have in the root of the rom folder and don't present this problem. The ones I do have in sub folders, though, (game boy, game boy color, game boy advance) ALL show up as just "Game Boy", "Game Boy Color" or "Game Boy Advance" on the screen.

(While I was writing this, though, I just realized that my media player files are also in sub folders and DON'T present this problem. I also hadn't tried refreshing the cache or deleting any list files or anything so I think I need to do a little more research on this but I'll still leave this preliminary report here.)

Negative here, all works well 4 folders deep

Hey guys...are the parental settings in Wiiflow meant to work for GC titles?
Whenever I turn parental lock on (10 years old) I can't see any GC titles at all, like they are all locked from view, but when unlocked it's clear that there is gametdb ratings data for them when digging further into the game data (game select, then +).

@ maxternal

make sure you dont have any "." in your folder path... for example "ROMS/nes.roms/"
That was for the old versions, I've fixed this bug a while ago.
@bostonbc:
I was able to reproduce the codedump btw and atm I have no idea at all why its happening, doesnt make any sense yet...

So I was thinking about trying out WiiFlow as a replacement to GX as WiiFlow automatically detects my HDD, while GX hangs and requires me to unplug/replug.

So, whenever start WiiFlow, everything looks fine and I see all my games, however when I actually run one, it just blackscreens and then returns me to the HBC.

It's not a problem for GX to load my games, and my HDD seems to be in working order as well (I tested with various HDDs). My Wii is softmodded with 249 and 250, both being d2x.

I tried manually setting the IOS to load in my game setting for Fortune Street (this was the game I used for testing, it does the same for every game) to 249 and to 250, and it still just blacks out.

Is there something else I should be doing?
