im still facepalming, emu nand does not work for me and now it makes 2 high pitch beeps before black screening and failing.
Yeah, I tried my hand at wiiware after a while of not using it (back when it was in /nand/ folder) and now it keeps telling me the system files are corrupted. I tried redumping my nand with wiiflow and added a few wiiware games to the nand and it still gives me the same message. My emunand worked before, I don't know what gives.
We fixed this issue on IRC using the issue tracker issue 78 as help.

How do I get to the source menu in this one? Before it was + and something, right? now + isn't working for me...

Yeah, ok. I loaded Dr Mario online with 249 ( not sure which d2x version) and it loaded just fine, returned to the system menu though, I guess you're still working on that. So what do you recommend we all do, return the other ones that don't need to be d2x back to stock, or will you make it so it only loads from 249, 250 on wiiware?

Also just out of curiosity, let's say that no more plugins and features are added (which I pray isn't the case, there's still a couple emus I'd like to see added) What all is there left to DO? Do you technical wizards have a check list you work from, or is it deal with problems as they emerge?

there isn't much left for usbloaders to add in terms of new features its mostly just perfecting already existing features

Hi can someone tell me the naming convention for emu rom covers? Is is romname.extension.PNG in the right sub folder of /wiiflow/boxart/ ?
Thanks, and r485 is working very well here!

This sort of thing should be documented in the wiki section on google code with all button mapping and possible configuations.

The amount of changes done since the mods were introduced can be rather daunting and having only partial info to go by from he original wiiflow.org can make things confusing to a user that hasn't been up to date.

Personally a page needs creating a kept in check, that way it would make less work when a official release is made.

I'm sure most people would agree to this, maybe create a enhancement on google code to get this going.

P.S

Fishears, not saying the info is on there, I'm saying it needs creating.

@gaiaknight - controversial! I like it!
Who has access to the old wiiflow wiki etc?
I applaud pepxl's idea of a single, central, document on GC, that describes folder structures and control keys and is edited by the devs as features are refined and released. Everyone can trust it, it's easier to refer to. It can then be duplicated onto help files, the wiki, a readme, a sticky at the top of this forum. It might well be a time saver for the devs too. It will certainly reduce the multitude of "i've used wiiflow for years, where can I find out what the hell's going on?" posts.

Perhaps a forum regular who regularly answers these queries would like to write the first draft?

I, for one, will happily provide feedback.
Pepxl's idea has provoked me to suggest that a definitive wiiflow 3 (circa r417(oldschool wiiflow)) can be also released for those that just want a wiiflow usb loader - just a suggestion. It would also render the wiki relevant again and slow all the wtf? posts.

In the plugins pack that you downloaded there is a ini for each emu. If you look there is a setting for cover path.

Use this for covers, just near the top is a section for naming covers for wiiflow

I thought BostonBC was working on a website for this very thing. What ever happened to that?

Last I remember he was waiting for the hosting company to reset something but http://wiiflow.info/ still just shows an index listing.

I made a slight modification to the default theme from the quoted post.

Coverflow #1 in that version is the same as Coverflow #7 in the default theme from GoogleCode
I personally liked the old #1 better than the old #7 so I put it back. (so in this version, the old #1 is the old #1. The old #7 is not included.)

I also had always wanted the back of the boxes to be white instead of gray when there was only a front cover
so I took the old PNG compiled into WiiFlow off of GoogleCode, changed the back to be white and incorporated it into the theme.

I can't take much credit for this since it's just the flows from [member='mastershoes'] that [member='fledge68'] added in to what he already had and some stuff from GoogleCode.
I just copied, pasted and painted white but here it is:

For anyone interested.

As kind of a side note, it would be cool if the games that only have a front cover could be shown as just floating covers like when you have box_mode=no set in your "wiiflow.ini" file (but JUST for those games). For me, a white box back is an improvement but not having any back would be better.

as an addition to that idea, would it be possible to autogenerate a simple picture based on the on the name of the title, and display it on the 'spine' of 2d cover when using 3d coverflows that use a spine view? I appreciate that I have no idea how complex this would be to implement.

I agree with Maxternal, So far I've made a few Wii coverarts by converting PAL covers to NTSC just so I can have the title on the spine and a back case to look at. Some of which I did was Battleship, Men in Black: Alien Crisis, Mario Party 9 and a few others. One of my favorites I did was Pikmin 2 cause I didn't like the whole 'Nintendo Selects' cover. But if anyone's intrested, I can upload them.

maxternal do you have 16:9 tv screen? I have a 4:3 old screen tv. I'm thinking that's why I like #7 and you like #1. #1 seemed too small and far away for me I liked 7 because it was bigger or closer to the screen. Anyway thanks for posting the mods- i'm sure some users will find them handy.

I actually have a 4:3, too. What I really didn't like about #7 myself was the lack of reflection.
Now that you mention it, I remember once having shown my wife #1 and #7 and asking her which one she liked best and she, too, liked #7 for that same reason, it's closer up and easier to see. In her case, though, she doesn't notice the difference unless I put them one right after the other and ask her.

EDIT : We'll just call it a personal preference.

I did a quick search and scanned recent posts, so forgive me if I've got this wrong. I updated to r488 and then discovered I was having issues with my NAND Emulation. From what I gather this has been a problem since r455, but perhaps I'm doing something wrong. I tried removing everything but the boxcovers and covers to let it re-create everything, then went into the .ini and set all my directories to usb2, then the NAND to yes, partition 1, folder \nand\ (as per the wiiflowiki). I'm also using two partitions here, NAND is on first FAT32 and Wiiflow and games are on second FAT32 partition. When I started up Wiiflow again I tried to go into a game (PokePark 2) and I was told there wasn't a save, I could either extract or start with a new. I tried to extract, got the extracting screen and things seemed fine. Then the safety screen, followed by a black screen of never endingness. Just tried with PokePark 1, didn't get the option but had black screen also. Set my NAND to disabled, tried PokePark 2 and it loaded fine. I also noticed that, though the .ini pointed the NAND to \nand\, I still had folders created under \wiiflow\nandemu. I tried changing the .ini to follow that path but it didn't work. I also tried re-dumping my NAND to no love. I would try the r455 but I didn't see any pre-made and I'm about to go to work else I'd figure out how to change the rev I'm compiling. Save that for later.

Anyways, suggestions? I also noticed that I had a wiiflow\nandemu on my SD card, no idea why that should be. Thanks for taking the time to read through this.

I also have big problems with emunand.Postloader4 works fine for me and almost all the VC/Wiiware games run without problems (minus the obvious ones). But this is not the case with Wiiflow. In fear of a corrupted emunand I deleted my emunand files from wiiflow folder and copied there my emunand files from the postloader folder. The result was that some Genesis/Mega Drive games were running but nothing else.Particular SNES/NES/N64 games that run fine with Postloader give me a black screen with Wiiflow.Weird... :(

I accidentally deleted ALL of my covers. I have some backed up, but alot are missing. Is there any way I can dump my game list and use some program to download them instead of searching them out one by one?
