this might be a silly question, can you use more than one video settings on an iso? my tv only uses 50hz at the mo but when i change the tv will i need to reburn the games?

Yes. Just use smart patcher or manual patcher.

I've just tried to convert a PAL game to NTSC with Wii-vmc but it makes screen jumping when I'm playing ... I think it is because the game is in 50 Hz and my Wii only accept 60 Hz. Is there a solution for this ?

Anyone managed to get Super Swing Golf 2 to work? I've tried manually hex-editing the offsets like gjac1 said to try, but that has not worked, still boots to black screen...

gjac1, you sure those are the offsets? The new ver of VMC finds those correctly now and it still doesn't work here... What else did you do?

Can someone write the correct order for patching No More Heroes USA with PAL region fix + 480p ??
E.g.
1. extract nmh from rars (torrent)
2. extract mail.dol from nmh.iso using trucha (2nd partition)
3. drag 'n drop main.dol to wii-vnc.exe
4. change to 480p and save
5. replace the old main.dol to nmh.iso with the new main.dol using trucha
6. right click on 2nd partition and sign it
7. make the patch for region fix (to PAL)
8. burn

I did it. You don't have to do the step 7. Just burn it.

so basically i should brute patch this so it will work on my normal tv which does 50/60hz and my projector that does 480p? What im saying is if i brute patch it i wont need to burn this game again and will work on any video mode i select?

- Support for resolution patching (this *should* remove the black bar at the bottom of the screen when using PAL 576i).

This is great work, as usual.

Just tried this new version on Williams Pinball Collection, converting to PAL 576i, but the black bar was still at the bottom of the screen. No worries though, it's still playable.

yes working flawlessly on 480p used version 1.0, i also know somebody who has it running in 480i with no problems, again used version 1.0

I thought I knew what had to be done for makin it work on pal, but apperantly not.

this is what i've done:
*extracted main.dol (2nd partition thing)
*draged main.dol to video mode changer 2.2
*choose option 'a.' smart patcher (cause I thought that would make it work on all modes, 50hz 60hz and 480p)
* operation succesfull
* replaces main.dol and signed 2nd patition
*I used region free the first time, didn't work (DVD+RW)
*2nd burn I redid everything but without regionfree, cause I have auto regionfree on my wiikey, it didn't work (DVD+RW)
*3rd burn on a DVD-RW didn't work.

edit: with every burn my wii does read the disc, I just get black screen afterwards.


yeah thats it, I thought i was prepared for when my nmh download finally finished, but it didn't work

help would be appreciated

edit: hahahahahahh I'm so stupid, i thougt my wii was already set to english but apparently not.
Works now!!!!!
I do get black bars at the side, but that normal isn't it

that's weird - nmh works for me even if my console is set to german =/

Man , for about 4 days we can play NMH usa on pal wii and lot of other games...

I can confirm: Winning Eleven (J) works when using vmc 2.2 with patcher v1 PAL60 480p.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Those games that don't work even patching them with Wii VMC, try to change their language with "Wii Game Language Patcher" to force the game to use the language that comes in the disc.

This have been tested with "Hajime No Ippo Revolution" JAP (patched to use japanese language) and works perfectly.
