I have a 3dslink blue card running the Wood 1.64 kernel. However, because it's designed specifically for 3DS, it has a "3DS setup" menu.
Interestingly, when I accidentally clicked and ran "3DS setup" on my NDS, my NDS wouldn't boot up due to firmware corruption.
Now I want to remove this menu item. Is there any way to do that? It seems like this card is a clone of r4ids.cn (wood1.64 rts), but I've tried using the kernel from r4ids.cn without success.
Perhaps there are other RTS WOOD kernels available that might work?
Thank you for your assistance, and I wish you a wonderful day ;)

Another question is, will there be such risks when I run it on a 3DS (b9s)?

it would need to be reverse-engineered, because I dont think source for 1.64 exists

1.62 doesnt have the 3DS Setup thingy, but I also don't think it works on that card to begin with (I was trying to find it so I could at least try it, but nobody's archived r4ids.cn wood_r4igold_1.62.rar for some reason)

on 3ds it'll probably corrupt your ds profile data, but according to this it's easily fixable https://gbatemp.net/threads/is-there-a-way-to-reset-the-ds-profile.381013/

Thanks, I've solved it. In fact you are right, I used the r4idsn kernel (wood v1.62) to solve the problem.

So I think r4idsn and r4ids should be the same team.

Now the question I'm confused about is whether there is a fundamental difference between v1.64 and v1.62? I can't find an update log for v1.64.

can you share the 1.62 kernel? I cant find a link that actually works on my card, they're all for different cards

the only change for 1.64 is the 3DS setup option in the menu really, though I think maybe it has RTS support when the older versions don't, not sure

Sure, I uploaded the file to the attachment. In fact the only difference between v1.62 and v1.64 is in the UI, other than that there are almost no changes, and v1.62 also supports RTS functionality.

ok, so that's the same thing I already found before, which doesn't work on my card. I guess the Plus card is really different hardware and requires the 1.64 kernel

at least you were able to solve your issue with it which is nice
