if i del all wifi config the wii u cannot be able to update? i cannot block with the router because dont have these function.
Deleting WiFi-Config is enough, yes. Or you could use the Tubehax DNS and it'll work just fine too as long as the guy maintaining it is not a major troll and would remove the blocks...

- So ready to buy another External HDD, just say the word and it's happening come on Loadiine and FWSpoofer !! lol

We need IOSU exploit to access USB, however golden45 figured out a way to load files through SD, so that gives you at least 32gb of SD access for now ^^.

Is it possible that using NUSGrabber will be a bad influence on other hacks?

> game updates can be uninstalled.

Does this mean that I can remove the data which I already updated normally?
For example, roll back the original first version.

If you have the files of the original first version, you can just replace the edited/new version with the original version, and your game will go back to normal. ;)
So, actually, they can be uninstalled but manually. @crediar you have to change the text.

How do we go about locating title IDs to download game updates? I see there's this page which has a list of IDs, but it doesn't specify if they're for the base game or updates.

Really?It's nice cool!
I am very interested in SSB4 original version.
SSB4 had already been updated v1.0.1 when it was released.
I want to play if the original version of the Legend 1.0.0 is present!:D

That page list "base" game.
if the base is a free title, you can download it.
if it's not free, you need to buy that title (game, application, etc.) officially to get the ticket on your WiiU first.
so if you already downloaded SSB4 for example, and you want to update, then locate SSB4 TitleID :

00050000-10144F00 Super Smash Bros.for Wii U v80 USA

00050000-10144F00 is the TitleID for the full/base download. there's no use downloading this if you never bought that game. you don't have the ticket.
0005000E-10144F00 is the TitleID for the updates. If you already bought the game, you can install updates.

Code:
NUSgrabber.exe 0005000E10144F00
this will download the latest update for Smash bros. USA

Code:
NUSgrabber.exe 0005000010105A00 96
this will download Netflix (USA/EUR) v96. (not the latest)
Code:
NUSgrabber.exe 0005000010105A00
this will download Netflix (USA/EUR) Latest version.

I don't know if tickets are different with new updated files.
For example, netflix r96 had an update but not a "game update", only a title update.
Would I be able to download the full 00050000-10105A00 titleID and overwrite my current install ? (officially installed and downloaded from eShop on 5.3.2)

Crediar's website states that you can install updates AND (unreleased pack) versions title.
The installer will have a filter to prevent brick and installing wrong files. maybe we can't install Titles which are not a game update.
We will know more when it's officially released.

Other thing I wonder :
after updating the versions title, can it be downgraded or replaced with a different version? will it affect normal Firmware update mechanism if we want to update officially?
"you are already on latest version" would be bad.

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages
  • Veho @ Veho:
It does that when I edit a post.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It inserts a newline in a random spot.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
never had that i don't think
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
do y'all think having an sd card that has a write speed of 700kb/s is a bad idea?
trying to restore emunand rn but it's taking ages... (also when I finished the first time hekate decided to delete all my fucking files )
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Karma177 that sd card is 100% faulty so yes, its a bad idea
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the slowest non-sdhc sd cards are a few MB/s
  • Karma177 @ Karma177:
@The Real Jdbye it hasn't given me any error trying to write things on it so I don't really think it's faulty (pasted 40/50gb+ folders and no write errors)

when SD cards/microSD write speeds drop below a meg a sec, they're usually on the verge of dying

@The Real Jdbye, I considered that, but i'll have to wait until i can get the eu version in the mail lol
