I thought the eShop wii games also needed the usual wii controllers... I'm sure it could be modified but isn't that what he/she was asking for?
wiiu e shop games that support the CC can be useded with the gamepad instead but like 90% of all wii games need wiimotes so yeah the library for CC is very tiny for that feature to even matter lol even from nintendo first party titles theres like 3 or 4 games with CC support.

I would love to use the GamePad with The Last Story, that would be the best thing ever really.
I think that there are enough games that are compatible with CC to make it worth it.

What is the point of doing this with a non-vWii method (or modified vWii, like the mode in which eShop Wii games run)?

IDK, maybe he/she wants to use the gamepad instead of the classic controller?

the reason is because I deleted IOS58 from my vWii and hackmii doesnt run - it freezes. I dont want to update to 5.5.1.

They had only about an hour to explain their stuff, if they were only trying to make users understand in that 1 hour, they wouldn't be able to passe enough information needed for other developpers to make all these tools that appeared now such as the possibility to downgrade from firmware 10 in 3ds :).
thumbs up for downgrade. I downgraded to 9.2 :yay3ds:

You can get a used Wii for U$S 50 if you want, you know?

So if I can find a Wii cheaper than the exploit games to mod the vWii, it's better to get a real Wii ?
You can buy LEGO Indiana Jones for U$S 3 on Amazon, but if you brick your Wii, you are not risking your Wii U, and there is more Homebrew on Wii than on vWii and it's safer and easier to use in general if you ask me.

well, in my situation i prefer vWii in case of switching. I already have 2 switches per 4 HDMI. Thats a lot of cables.
