You can just use XAMPP (if you're on windows, not sure about other OSes) and Apache to host it. It doesn't /have/ to be local but it makes it a lot easier and a lot more controllable. If and when we make an IOSU exploit and get access to SD card it should be easy enough to make a homebrew launcher load files like the original homebrew channel (with the launcher hosted on some website and any programs/files on your SD/USB)

Actually, I'd recommend using USB WebServer for Windows users.

People who dont know how to locally host an html file want to play with console exploits? You guys better plan on writing a ridiculously specific tutorial for using the exploit. Then prepare to answer qustions that are explained in detail IN the tutorial. Sorry, its just that we've already established how to host a simple html file in this thread. Dont believe me? Do a search.

hykem found the offset. tomorrow he should have the kernel exploit for 2.1.1 :)

Well, the browser exploit itself may very well be done by then. The kernel exploit, though, seems to require some minor changes for each version. We're still in the process of porting it to 4.1.0 and 5.1.0.

So you guys have an exploitable Webkit bug already for 5.1.1+?

I was just coming here to say that I've found a way to write memory out of bounds of a string. I've already made it work on linux with a really similar version of webkit that the wiiu has (they both have the same exploitable JSCore code). I can't test it with a WiiU right now (my WiiU's at home and I'm not) but if the bugs succeeds and the WiiU doesn't crash (it crashed when I confirmed the bug existed) exploitation shouldn't be that hard since you can just overwrite another object's vtable.

I will gladly share everything with you people if you need it, but since you posted that I'm guessing that you're at the point you don't need this anymore? I don't really care about getting credit or anything, just let me know if you do need it.

Oh and congratulations by the way!

It'd be a good idea to start stockpiling. Ours (if it works) should need little to no changes between versions, so we'll probably use ours first and save that for if this is patched. Glad to know we're not the only ones working though ;)

Got text edits working :) I must say, their new engine is REALLY picky. I'll record a video and release my updated SARCPack shortly.

EDIT: Here's SARCPack v0.2, for whatever reason drag and drop doesn't work (no idea why), but command line works perfectly.
