Possibly a proof of concept video (I hope we'll finish it on Christmas since we'll have ample time to work) but no release since then we'd need to clean it up and make the homebrew launcher as mentioned before.

Okay, I was thinking about the common key and decryption.stuff but thanks for that update and happy holidays.

Edit; I blocked my Wii U by mac address. I am 5.3.2 though so I won't be able to use any exploit right? No browser and no kernel exploit?

As far as we know, yeah. There's a chance that they've patched the kernel method mentioned a while ago.

It's not just him, there are 3 specific people I know about, and one just commented in this thread. The other one I've never seen around this section but know of him.

So...can someone tell me what the hell is going on with this so-called leak, the exploit and if/when the Wii U will ever be hacked? From the looks of it, it sounds grim to me. Judging from this, I can't help but be negative over this.

So..the Wii U scene is pretty much f**ked six ways from Sunday? Well, ain't that fan-freaking-tastic. So, why should we even bother? Sure seems like there won't be any leaks.

I'll be blunt and stop any more questions. Some people (who I am not going to name) are thinking of leaking the common key some time in the near future. I have nothing to do with this. If they decide to release it (if they have it at all) then hooray, but as it stands I don't know anything about it.

This is a rumor I have heard from the person who supposedly was going to leak it.

Which reinforces my earlier sentiment that the leaking of the common key isn't even guaranteed and those responsible for its leak can pull a dick move and simply refuse to release it, since, "they don't owe us anything". I think that proves my point, there's no guarantee, so, why should I be positive or hopeful that they might leak it?

It's not enough for them to "think about releasing it" because that's not exactly reassuring TBH. And there you have it. They should just release it already. I give up on ever seeing anything done in the Wii U scene, I'm sorry, but that's how I feel.
