Hacking Wii Softmodding Scene!

Hey all, long time no chat!

It's been a while, in fact about 5 months, since I last stepped foot into the Wii Softmodding Scene.

Currently I have a 4.1E Softmodded Wii with BootMii as Boot2 and CFG USB Loader 4 with CIOS rev14 I believe it is. I also have Hermes IOS 222/223.

Just wondering whats new to the entire Wii Scene these days.

Whats the latest Wii System Menu?
Whats the latest CIOS rev?
Is Bootmii needed these days?
Whats the latest version of CFG?
Whats the latest version of BootMii?
How do I upload my Wii's System Menu without losing my "Softmodded" progress?
Is there more effective softmod methods these days?

They are basically all the questions I have to ask at this present time, and I would appreciate if you guys answered any or all of them

Welcome back. Since you've been gone, we have been making effective use of the 'new' search feature here on GBA. That's it up there at the right side of your menubar. It's available for you to use, too! Why not try it out? Add the keywords 'version' and 'update' to 'system' or 'cios' and surprise yourself with it's effectiveness.

Whats the latest Wii System Menu?
4.2, and it's completely hackable!

Whats the latest CIOS rev?
Cios38 Rev17..although Rev18 is due in a week

Is Bootmii needed these days?
It's not needed, but it's HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Whats the latest version of CFG?
V51

Whats the latest version of BootMii?
BootMii public beta 4, available in the Hackmii Installer v0.6
