Hacking Wii softmodded on 3.0e

Hi I have dug my old Wii out, it has been softmoded on V3.0e.

What is the best way to update this, officially to 4.3 and then softmod or this there an easier way - without going through Nintendo?

Just do the official update process. You will likely need to re-softmod your wii as all your stuff is likely super outdated and will likely be obliterated by the latest update.

Before you update though, did you evervplay around with anyregionchanger (now obsolete)?

Because if yoy did, there's a risk of bricking with the update. If you've used anyregionchanger run the latest syscheck and post your results here BEFORE proceeding.

For the softmodding process use modmii (its idiot proof )
