i have a pal 3.2 wii with wiikey and I still get the blue 002 error screen when using gecko 1.07b. I've got ios 55 etc and cios 13a installed, seems strange that it won't work

Get either the latest Gecko OS, or the latest Gecko OS 1.07b from WiiBrew.

Well the latest Gecko OS 1.07b is from me and allows to play trucha signed games on 4.0 if only IOS36 is trucha capable.

This i have from an other tread....

Just tried it again with USBLoaderGX with the wii sports resort game settings as:

Video Mode: Disk default
VIDTV Patch : Off
Game Language: Japanese
Ocarina: Off
IOS: 249
Parental control: 0
Error 002 fix: ON
Patch coutry settings: OFF
Alternate DOL: OFF
Block IOS Reload: ON

And its loading fine! Do you think booting it from my flatmii 1st has made a save file telling the wii its already been watched? If thats the case then an alternate .dol should fix the problem.

Tried those settings, definitely doesn't work for me. If anyone could upload an initial save I'd really appreciate it.

Sadly my save wont work as it is tied to my Mii. Load it from disk 1st then and only then will it play from USBLoaderGX

ok - but for someone who doesn't have a chip....usb loader only work if you get past the video which can be done via save. problem is we have no save file yet. As for the backup launcher - neogamma doesn't work right? seems like people are saying yes and no. confirmation please?

well neogamma or backuplauncher resets my wii, the latest GeckOs worked straight away though, it asked me to install an update from the disc and worked instantly after that

Then if I have CIOScorp, I just need to run it thru the Disc Channel first and then I'll be able to run it thru the USB Loader...?? cause I don't remember had done none of this with "Grand Slam", I just dumped it into my HDD and it boot straight away, no GeckOS no save file no nothing...

....for those with ModChips I wonder why they haven't installed IOSes 38-53-55 yet..??

Aparently you don't have a cIOS installed, and you still lack of IOSes 38-53-55, that's why the launchers reseted your Wii, and that is why GeckOS ask you to install the IOS for the game..!!

aha! It's very possible. I only tried upgrading to system menu 4.0 today and it failed at the last step but my good ol 3.2 still works so it seems. I seriously need to catch up cause I'm such a newbie now with all these patches and hacks.
What would yo recommend? Should I still install cIOS?

download NUSD from Wiibrew and .net binairies from Microsoft
then put 0000000100000026 in title id & v 3610
Tic "wad pack" and let's go!

EDIT: you need either cIOSCORP or a chip to load games from disc channel. an original IOS won't help you to do this...but can be used as base for cIOS installation
