Hacking Wii FW 3.1U and WiiKey?

My daughter thought she was doing me a favor and updated my Wii to the latest firmware. I haven't said anything to her, but none of my backups work. I tried the latest (?) Wiikey boot disk 1.2 (I believe that's the latest, and no joy.

Any newer boot disks? Suggestions..

Yeah, there's Boot Disc 1.3, but you have to first update your WiiKey.

But is strange... I've heard of lots of people who updated to 3.1 without a problem.

Try to update your Wiikey, and see what happens.

Yeah the site is no good atm and who knows for how long. I've thinking maybe I have to bust open my Wii again, and check the connections. We just moved and it was packed away in the box. Maybe something came loose..
