Just to let the thread starter know, the original post is badly in need of an update with new chips, retailers, and reviews =/

I was going to get Wiinja again (this time for a friend) but good lord, there's only a few good reputable sites to buy it at and they're never in stock. WTF. Great modchip but the devs really need to start calling good retailers like modchip.com and other US-based retailers. This is ridiculous.....

OK so for my question:

At modchip.com, they're selling the "WiiKit", and they claim it has the same exact specs as the WiiKey. Yet, in the spec list it says it includes the audio fix. I trust modchip.com since I've always ordered my chips from them with no problems, but is this also BS like with the Wiikey? (said it had audio fix, really didn't).

Isn't this whole thread in need of an update. No one posts in like two months. Has anyone noticed that modchips are no longer for sale anywhere in the Western hemisphere. This doesn't cause any new postings in this thread? No one has any need for modchips anymore? I do. All the shops took the money and ran though.

Hi!
For people in Quebec, Canada (mostly in Montreal):

I went to "Zone Accro" and they did a fabulous job of selling me and installing for me my wiikey.
Their prices are very affordable and they did the installation in front of me, so no waiting (just call before going to make sure the guy who install the wii chips is available)

Just to let you know

Here is their website:Zone accro

Hello I would like to share my experience with foundmy.com

I ordered a modchip from them August 31 and received confirmation soon after that my order had been processed. On clicking the included link to see the order's progress, I discovered that the owner of the site, one Terry Wascowich, had removed his business from the internet entirely. Visa took the money from my account on September 4 and gave it to Terry Wascowich, owner and operator of Foundmy.com. He then kept this money and provided neither goods nor services in return. I tracked down his home phone number on the 6th and called him and received excuses and was told to just wait an indefinite amount of time for a refund. I found this unacceptable and have sent all pertinent information to him every day since and have been ignored. All future phone calls also have gone ignored. If you ever order from Foundmy.com, expect to have your money taken and receive nothing in exchange.

Modchipcentral(they are located in Canada) still ships to the US that I know of, my co-worker ordered a wiikey this past weekend and they shipped it out today.

Ordered my Wiikey from www.modchipcentral.com and I live in Chicago and it came really fast so they definitely still ship to the US.

Since CycloWiz posted the Wii Modchip Comparison Chart does anyone think it would be worth it waiting for Team Cyclops to recover from the Nintendo raids and their chips to come back in stock or is the WiiKey good enough since the latest update?

Is there something in the design of the WiiKey (something about the RAM?) that leaves it vulnerable to more Super Mario Galaxy modchip checks or is it fixed completely now? Or are we going to see constant anti-modchip games and constant WiiKey updates?

I wanted to order a Wiinja Deluxe from Modchipcentral but they don't accept Paypal! And I don't want to give my credit card to them. Anyone know of a reputable site that accepts Paypal?

Has anyone had any recent experience with Chipspain? I just bought a cyclowiz from them because it seemed to be the cheapest around that said it was in stock. I haven't heard much about them other than the two opinions a while back in this tread and was just wondering if anyone had dealt with them recently.
