Do you have PriiLoader installed? Hold down reset while you turn on your Wii and keep it help down and see if PriiLoader starts. If you don't have PriiLoader do you know if you have BootMii installed in Boot2?

Tried holding down reset button but no luck. I don't think I have BootMii installed in Boot2 as far as I remember.

I wanna add that I used to have a bootmii with boot2 installed with nand file on another sd card but I uninstalled it for reasons. But I still have the nand file backup somewhere. I wonder if I could restore my current wii using previous nand file that I have

Why would you uninstall BootMii? Without BootMii installed in Boot2 or PriiLoader installed there really isn't much else to do. If there is even a chance that it is still installed, you can try and find your BootMii files, put them on your SD card, put it in your Wii and turn it on and see if it boots into BootMii. If you can't find your BootMii files you can try this thread here (https://gbatemp.net/threads/lost-bootmii-files.161873/) and see if you can use the files that someone else posted there.

I've read somewhere that if your disc slot flashes blue when you open it then you have bootMii installed. Mine does flash blue. Is that true?

I've heard something similar too but I don't know exactly. However, I did find another guide you can try if you truly don't have BootMii in Boot2. https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiimmortality-the-trick-that-makes-full-bricks-fixable.294029/ So try the BootMii files first and see if that works. Then if you have a Gamecube controller try the recovery mode option.

This is from the bootmii website: www.bootmii.org/faq

I installed BootMii/boot2, but it doesn't come up when I boot my Wii.
Try booting with no SD card inserted. If you see a brief set of flashes from the blue slot LED right after you hit the power button, try a different SD card. Make sure you have a directory named "bootmii" with the "armboot.bin" and "ppcboot.elf" files inside.

If you do not see those flashes, BootMii/boot2 is not installed.

You can download the files that are required for BootMii with ModMii. If you have it installed as boot2 it will pick them up at startup.

Blue LED only flashes once... does that mean I don't have bootMii?
Yeah that's just the regular flash. You don't have bootmii.

Since this is so sudden, your bluetooth or wifi module is probably dead. Can you turn your Wii on using the wiimote? If not then your BT module is dead and needs to be replaced.

Yeah, sounds like you don't have it installed. Again, what reason did you have to want to uninstall it?

I didn't think about that. I was kinda wondering myself why playing a game would have caused a brick. I had only heard of something like that on the Wii U playing Wii Fit Plus.

Long ago, Wii was sent back to owner, owner doesn't want it hacked. Uninstalled everything. Now I got it back and reinstalled just last night, prolly forgot to install bootMii. Yeah.

If you get the module replaced then there's nothing to recover.
Meaning... it's gonna boot up properly again? No BootMii or PriiLoader something like that?

I also wanna add that Wii Motion Play crashed into Black Screen when I tried booting it up the 2nd time. Does that mean the BT Module was damaged at that time?

Theoretically, as long as it is actually the BT module that's damaged, then yes, as soon as it is replaced everything should work fine. But it's impossible to be 100% sure that the module is dead. It could also be the Wifi module but that's much less likely. Really, it's only worth it to replace if there's stuff on the Wii you actually need since buying a new Wii doesn't cost much. It's always a gamble.

There is one other way to be sure it's the module. If you use the SaveMiiFrii method to boot into the recovery menu and that still works, it usually means the BT module is definitely dead. But that requires disassembling a GC controller so it's up to you.

Actually I have heard and seen some videos were disassembling the controller was not necessary. You just either need to push really hard on the d-pad or put a clamp on it and make it really tight.

Yeah I think it is possible to do without disassembly, but you want to be 100% sure that pushing all the buttons is working which can be finicky without disassembly. You don't want to pronounce a Wii dead because you couldn't push all the buttons right.

There's an example of how it works here:

Skip onto 1:13 if you don't want to see this guy turning on and booting the Wii

If you have Priiloader then you will have to hold reset as soon as that screen comes up. If holding reset does not work try turning off the Wii, and do the method again. (HOLD IT A MINIMUM OF 10 SECONDS BEFORE DOING SO.)

The guy in the tutorial uses a PS2 Controller. But a GC Controller should work fine. You will need to do this with all directional buttons so that's why he used a PS2
