Waiting for my Xbox 360 version to arrive... was delayed in Canada (due to requirement for inclusion of a French manual we expect). I loved the original game on the 1st Xbox... it was amazing on Xbox Live multiplayer, fast paced and exciting. May download this just to try with the Wii controls... but the Xbox 360 version will get almost all of my attention.

why should people play those games? Gotcha itself is a simulation of "war", but to simulate a simulation...nah, c'mon kids go out and play it in the real world!

Now 21 days after the US release, the Xbox 360 version (and Wii version too) hasn't reached Canada stores. Most believe this is due to an issue with lack of French manual inclusion. I decided to give the Wii version a chance... honestly I wasn't fully impressed, even when on a Wii FPS comparison level, it just doesn't seam to be as fun as I remember the first one back on the original Xbox. Only able to find two reviews of the Xbox 360 version (from minor game blogs)... both gave it reviews of below 50%. So due to delays and lack of hype (reviews in general), I've cancelled my pre-order for the Xbox 360 version. It's really too bad as I was looking forward to this... still have good memories of how fun it was online with Xbox Live back in the day.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
