I'm not too excited. I just watched the IGN trailer and the graphics are so basic and boring it just puts me off. I think the movie maker also thought so, because most of the footage is old Indianapolis clips with some interviews.

I think although the real thing isn't that different from this game, they could have spiced it up a bit for entertainment value. From what I see it's mediocre Gamecube shit.

Hopefully the gameplay will be TOTALLY FRICKING AWESOME!!!! Because otherwise this game is DOOMED!

Yeah me too!! Used to lose hours racing round those dodgy 3D circuits on my A500, my first computer

I'm looking forward to giving this a go, apart from Exite truck all the rest of the current Wii racers are quite poor. Mind you, a lot of current Wii titles are very very average games....but lets not get into that one here.

I don't like how you get to the action and it could do with better circuits, but imo the grip racing on prostreet is the benchmark on the Wii.

Indy 500 for the PS1 was way better (an arcade racing game by Tomy)

Not as deep as a Papyrus game, but a bit of the feel of the original Indy 500.
I got a kick out of the first mission being Jack Brabham too.

I will refuse to play this game permanently. Only because I'm getting sick of downloading 4 gb for an average game, that is probably just 1 gb or less.
