i have a r4 and i use wood r4, when iam testing the connection i got full signal, but when its almost done testing all bars go away and the ds show a error msg, thats happen in all wireless points i try.
Do Someone know how to help me?

The ds is mostly able to connect to acces open acces points. Most of the time, you should be able to acces open points. If they are locked (a locky simbol), then you might have to input IP adress and everything that is listed at the "edit" section. Note that WPA2 isnt a supported acces point for NDSL/NDS etc.

If they are Open points, try to acces them by inputting a ip adress, with all other details, if you know it. Try it out, and see if you can fix it :)

Note: there is a homebrew to test a connection if it's open or not. It's called airscan.

thanks for the help, but all the acess points that i got are open and they kind connect for a time but at the end of the testing the signal is gone and when i try to connect with air scan, i got "DNS Failed"

hmm, very typical. I see that i have these kind of annoyance too. If you must, you should look onto the Nintendo website, and type in your Error code at search part.

You can also consider getting a Wifi USB adapter. This is a usb stick, with software, that will act as best acces point for a ds, no failing there, since it will mostly work. It just needs to be in a turned on computer. (if you have zonealarm or mcaffee, you will get trouble)
GL mate

try connecting that very same connection on a computer eg laptop. Then copy ALL the addresses that have been generated on the computer eg IP address, DNS address, gateway and subnet , and copy them into the DS settings (you will configure the settings manually when the DS fails to connect to the connection automatically)
I believe there is an option to set the address manually or automatically in that internet connection's tab inside the wifi settings
Hope that helps
