Hacking wierd noises in NeoGamma v7

ok so i burned a Gamecube game to a DVD-R and put it in my wii and boot it up with NEOGamma v7 at first it runs fine,

but when i press the power button on my wii and resets it goes to bootmii menu and the disk drive makes like
tick tick tick tick tick-tick tick tick tick tick tick-tick

when i exit bootmii to wii menu its fine, but is this normal?

I never had the problem before.
