Hello all, been using atmosphere via hekate for a about a month now. Let my nephew use the switch and he said he exited a game and closed the software. After that he gave it to me cuz it took him to the hekate menu, launch menu. So I did the usual launch to emmu but it just keeps taking me back to the hekate launch menu. Any ideas how to fix? Thanks everyone

Sounds like he updated the firmware which 90% of the time is the usual case when letting a kid play with a hacked switch. Hekate just boots into itself b/c its not compatible to the firmware its trying to boot into
Gonna need the latest hekate and atmosphere if thats what happened.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
