given the news today of a new Supercard series coming on the market (SC Rumble), maybe they've just been very very busy. Need to respond to the competition, ya know.

But now that theyve announced it, let's get our update!

i wish people would stop moaning about the lack of updates for the supercard

as pointed out many times in this post you paid for the hardware and NOT the updates

just deal with it

its sure better to develope another product than to support the already existing one first. NOT.
now i know why i always bought m3/g6 products.
they CARE about their customers.
and thats well worth a few more bucks.

I'd be more inclined to get a Slot-1 Supercard solution that isn't totally dependant on the patching software so this crap won't happen this often..

Though it is weird that all these other newcomers have slot-1 solutions out before the major players in the business..

Well it is not , others mostly are copying from eachother. People who are new tend to make a fresh start. That is in general where good idea's come from

@Mars77 ...What more do you want ? the Mvs DK2 game didn't patch properly with current software and within 24hrs SC release pre-patch versions.

Next time I see some I'll get a stick and pick it up for you.

Bumping this because we still need new firmware

Why, what is it that you want to play that you can't?

Why? Do you want to pick apart my complaints individually or are you just a sycophant?

I was just curious because there's nothing that doesn't work in some form or another, unless you're incapable of using a DOS prompt.
QUOTEIt needs a new patcher and firmware. Patcher because of the issues that most people have to run an old copy of the 2.53 patcher in parallel with the latest, and firmware because of the 2 recent games that had to be manually patched - an obvious protection trend that may continue.

Would be nice, but it's not exactly critical is it.

Any further comments regarding todays release that also doesn't work on the Supercard? 3 games now.

hey, hunting down the internet for pre.patched versions sounds like a good idea to me, and a good excusion for the lacking updating of their soft/firmware.
maybe you guys come home from school and have nothing better to do then check all your cool sources for pre.patched releases of the latest games.
me comes home from work and wants to play some games, w/o having to worry if it will work or get a pre.patched version.
and im fine with this on both my m3 and g6. and if a game doesnt work it will the next day. the same "official" release i leeched the day before, not a pre.patched one.

no personal offense to anyone, but some ppls arguments are just poor.

^ That isn't the main SC forum..

But it is on the actual SC forum that hardly anyone goes to, lol.. (only because it's kind hard to find on their homepage being a small text on the bottom

This would be Lego Starwars II, Harvest Moon and Donkey Kong vs DK 2, all of which are working on my supercard as we speak?

Working for people who lurks in forums, otherwise people who just buy from online shops and only visits the download page of Supercard's home will be out of luck..

And those people fail at using Google too, lol..

Going by that logic M3/G6 users would be really out of luck, since the official page only has outdated software to download.

You lose this argument simply because you never actually visted those pages recently, they're all updated.. Yeesh..

People who are having trouble with some games should just use the retail one they bought till there is a working fw+patch for the games. That is the easy way and no one can hardly complain.

With a 3rd party patch

Oh noes! A third party patch. I tried playing Mario vs Donkey Kong, but all I could think about was the fact I spent 20 seconds applying a third party patch! It make me feel physically sick and I had to turn the game off. Then I had to go and scrub myself because I felt so dirty.

There's a new patcher out now, but I really, really can't understand your wobbly lip over this. If you wanted to play the games, download a patch in 2 seconds and patch it. If you didn't want to play them, stop crying about it. If you can post line after line whining about something which makes absolutely zero difference to the games you can play on the SC, then you can type one line in a DOS window. If you're too stupid to use a command prompt, you're too stupid to be a pirate.

This thread is gonna last forever.
They're not gonna stop releasing games after the supercard patcher is out, so there's always going to be roms that don't work (till the next patcher)
