To be honest the last time I used an R4/TTDS was many years ago (probably 10)
If I recall correctly it needs 3 files on the root of your SD.
All you need to do is to extract the contents to the root of your SD.

Excuse my late reply, I'm doing other stuff.

It may not be as old as you think, it has the R4i name which means it came out sometime after the DSi released (so likely sometime in 2009 or later).

Check if your card is supported by RGF's Multi-Cart Update and try using that instead of the stock firmware. It will most likely be more compatible and more stable anyway. https://gbatemp.net/download/retrogamefan-multi-cart-update.35737/

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
