Hacking Where are 3ds game updates stored on the sd card?

So in the process of downgrading my 3ds from 11.4 back to 11.3 I managed to lose the animal crossing new leaf welcome amiibo update. My other games each have their saved data but new leaf is asking to be updated again, and to do that I need to update my 3ds to the latest firmware, which completely defeats the purpose of me downgrading in the first place. sigh.

I do have a few backups from before I downgraded so if I could just find where the game's update is stored I was hoping that would help fix ?
