Hi all! I recently modded my old 3DS XL using the 3ds hacks guide the other day. Stupidly, I am just now noticing that I had accidentally left in my Animal Crossing New Leaf game cartridge while I was completing the mod. Now upon opening the game, the 'amiibo' update has completely been stripped away and my save files are nonexistent. I'm not sure if leaving the game cartridge in could have anything to do with it, but I've attempted to update the game data but I keep getting error messages saying that an error has occurred and to try again later. My 3DS is already updated to the latest software version after I completed the mod, though. Could all of my AC:NL data be lost?
