When will lego get their building/ sandbox game

There is one called lego creator from 20th century, sharing the same name with the basic series that the sets come in multiple form (though it still limit our creativity using instruction).
I hope it can import models from digital designer with actual collapsing box.
And hope that mine craft and TT games (they could be working on that) will not mind much. And with better than mine craft spawned houses

Probably never.

The various Lego game devs and creative teams have stated in various interviews that they have zero plans for story-less video games like that, they just don't see the appeal anymore. The last sandbox game they made was 10+ years ago, Minecraft with a Lego-based texture pack is the closest you're going to get.
