Hello guys, Im a new member and would like more information about flashcards and stuff regarding the DS. I know a few basics and I'm going to get a DS Lite soon, so I would like to know what would be the best supercard for me to play quite a few games on.

During my brief time on gbatemp, I've looked around and found out that there are several supercards, like R4DS and DS Fire Link. Are these suitable for a beginner?

I would appreciate if someone linked me to a beginners section or even a website which can assist me in the right way.

Thanks in advance, Fizsparky

R4DS/M3 Simply (same thing, basically) are really good cards for noobs, but don't support SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity, which means MORE than 2gig) cards.

CycloDS - Supports SDHC and is one of the better "new" flashcards on the market.

I'm sure few other people will chime in with suggestions for you too.

Supercard DS One has SDHC, real-time-save, and supercard has a reputation for long term support (they still do firmware updates on their slot 2 cards)

edit:Also, there are LOTS of changes/improvements since the GBATemp review

Agree, Scds-1 (SDHC ver), simply the leader in features.

The cart just keeps getting better all the time due to unrivalled support.

I suggest the CycloDS Evolution. The too have Real Time Save support, built in cheats, slowdown, SDHC support, full Download Play Compatibility, and a full touch screen support GUI. This card is great for someone starting off because it's so easy to use

Yeh, but it lacks 'real time' game guide and 'real time' cheats menu ('real time' global on/off doesn't count)

I have a feeling big N has a extra trick up they sleeve to prevent piracy this time w Switch 2. (Lotus 4 maybe) So the new games can't be dumped, even w a dump tool. (Mig dumper)

It would have to be extra security measures in the Switch 2 gamecarts that will be different from the OG Switch carts. So, for example, Switch 2 gamecarts will not work with the Switch, because it has a different ASIC. Game partitions and layout to a Switch ROM will be the same, but has extra flags in the ROM header info that only the Switch 2 will recognise.

When I owned my pizza place many years ago, we didn't have a cash register at all, every employee was given a "bank" of small bills at start of shift. Then everyone pocketed the money and made change, and I'd cash everyone out at end of shift. One time we had a gunman come in to rob me and wanted to know where's the cash register. I told him we don't take cash, only credit, and he left with nothing. Cops caught him even.

My wifeys aunt gave her some gold coins in her will when she passed last year, and the tax man was gonna tax her a gift tax on it, but our accountant said if she sells the gold and put that money into a 5 year CD, it will be untaxable. So she did, and now IRS saying they want a income tax on the gold coin sale. Damn taxman always greedy.
