Hacking What's everything I need to burn wii backups?

Just two simple questions: What are all the programs I need to download and what do I need to have (as in physical objects)to burn wii backups? Also how do you even burn wii backups? Sorry, but I don't know anything about backing up things... at all. Help plz!

All that you need for now is to use a search fonction

and maybe the desrcambler for older games.

your best bet is just to find a source to download the game (usually in split rars). then you unrar it, and burn the image file with imgburn. the physical objects you will need is a dvdr!

The LG drive is on required if you want to dump your own wii game. It is cheaper and faster to use the Gekko SD method, even if you have to buy the adapter.

Either way, you need a DVD burner of any brand.

And I have Nero Express, will that work?

All of this has been answered a billion times and there are a billion tutorials on it if you just took the the time to do a quick google search. That's how I learned all I needed to know.
Try googling "Burn wii games tutorial" or something to that effect and you will find a everything you want right down to the type of dvd-r's you need.

besides I'm just jabbing fun with the baby food thing don't take it so serious

I've not modded my wii, but from reading and searching for the past few months it's really simple.

If you want to download the games, find them, download them, get the image, burn it using a number of programs (nero,imgburn). Stick inside wii and enjoy, well, enjoy if the chip has been installed correctly.

If you would prefer to skip the download part. You can do it one of two ways. One way is to get an LG drive and rip the game like a dvd. The other way is to use the SD gecko thing to download parts of the game one by one, then once the entire game is on your computer, join them together and burn it using one of the above mentioned programs.

Seriously, people are making these comments because it's been gone over a thousand times. A thousand times I know because I've probably read each and every one of them a few times. I'm just stuck because I'm on a mac and as far as I know, you have to have a windows machine and I sure as hell ain't putting windows on my mac.

Good luck, do some searching and try to burn a couple of discs.
