Anyways I'm sure they will come out with a multi patch - so it'll block all if they want to.

Modified ISOs, because this is a bigger threat to nintendo and probably an easier fix.
Nintendo still makes money from imported games, if I were them, I'd focus on blocking modchips or pirated/modified games any way possible before even thinking of blocking freeloader.

nintendo's stupid, they've tried many times to stop people from importing games (lawsuits, hardware modifications, software modifications, they prevented late NGC units from reading the freeloader, they prevented late NGC... I mean, Wii units from reading the freeloader...)

If they come with a update to stop chips, Wiikey certainly will be blocked it's so easy I don't understand why Nintendo doesn't do it
But Chips like CycloWiz with a Switch which makes the chip read only it can't be blocked, also the CycloWiz can be turned off
Wiikey is just a writeable chip that can't be turned off lieing there WRITE ME BLANK, this also counts for all chips that can be writed withouth a switch

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
