As the title reads I was wondering what your opinion of Minecraft is would you consider it a good or bad game? and if so why?

Everyone tends to own MC, so it’s a very easy game to get to play with friends. It’s not the deepest game, but it has the freedom to allow you to do whatever you kinda want. Make fun things like you’re playing with LEGO or perler beads? Yep. Explore cool randomly generated places? Yeah. Farm? Collect animals? Slay zombies? Heck yeah.

Redstone and command blocks also allow for some really trippy stuff. With a few guides, you could find a crapload of stuff to do.

Let alone just how insane this game gets with mod support in the java ver. Gosh dang, if MC too shallow for you, get some huge modpacks and turn it into something entirely different. It’s wild.

TLDR: it’s fun, because it’s easy to play with friends due to its simplicity. It...

Boring as hell; I'm not all that creative, so "building giant constructions" isn't exactly something I can aim towards, and getting a lot of iron naturally (i.e. not using an Iron Golem farm) is tedious, since mining hasn't been updated in years, if ever.
Oh, and that's not even mentioning combat, which they fucked up in 1.9 (years ago) by adding in the attackSpeed attribute - all but eliminating "spam-clicking" for swords. While there have been supplementary "Combat Test" snapshots, they haven't been incorporated into the normal weekly snapshots or any full releases yet, and those "Combat Test" snapshots all fuck around with combat in their own awful way. Just...yuck. At the most, "attack speed" should be a game rule one can toggle using commands, not an invasive issue only circumventable via giving the "attackSpeed 9999" attribute to equipment and using that.

I actually quite enjoy playing Minecraft and I play on my own personal server with my girlfriend and a few friends. Personally, I mostly resource gather for my girlfriend and make farms for our base, but that's what I enjoy and I enjoy seeing what she does with the resources that I gathered for us.

Sometimes yeah but it doesn't seem to be a super common thing, mostly just like a "whoops, some labels for the wrong record got mixed into the stack somehow, nobody noticed, then someone else further down the process went wait how did album B get mixed in with album A, let me put those in the right pile" sort of thing.

In the distant past before all these fancy solid state electronic gizmos, there were segmented displays with tiny lamps under each segment instead of one backlight and then an LCD overlay.
