Hardware What is xRegistry.sys?

Hello, I'm a PS3 user who just bought a Korean PS3. As you all know, asian playstations have switched o and x buttons and ot is unchangable. I found it disturbing and I've searched around the internet to find some infos and I found out that it can be changed by editing xregistry.sys file.
What I couldn't find out was how to get access to this file(my PS3 is on unexploitable firmware). Is it just simply impossible?

You'll need to downgrade your PS3.
And if it's a Slim made in 2011 or newer, you can't.

Many people says it's best just to get used to it... and thankfully, the game I play is set to use X for confirmation. And that's it, I guess.

Most if not all games (atleast the ones retailing in the US and Europe) have X as confirmation indeed.
