not talking about homebrew but what does the switch use the msd card for?

save games should be there logically but they are saved on the switch itself..and making it frustrating difficult to backup your saves. nintendo recently announced cloud saves but it is clear that this is an afterthough and backing up saves was never though of during the design...

i guess eshop games will be downloaded into the sdcard? but what other use is there if you aren't planning to buy any digital titles
