I seen it mentioned some where and i don't know what it stands for. Plz explain.
It's for Supercards. It means RealTimeCheat.
Basically, you can enable/disable cheat-codes ANYTIME in the game with a Supercard. I have one. I love it (:
If its in reference to my recent post, its Real Time Clock. Its used in the pokemon games to keep track of time.
Are pokemon games the only games that uses this?
There are a couple other games that use RTC, but the Pokemon games are the main ones.
Real Time Cheat.
RTC is Real Time Clock referred to the clock more often than cheat
Even a google search of GBA RTC 99% of the results are Real-Time Clock
He wasn't specifically talking about GBA.
Can anyone list any GBA games that uses Real Time Clock? Other than pokemon.
Some of the Megaman Battle Network games (not sure which ones, maybe all of them) use a clock.
Not all of the GBA Pokemon games use a clock. Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald do, Fire Red and Leaf Green do not. I don't know about the others. There are patches for Ruby and Sapphire to enable time based events on flashcarts that don't have clocks. There is no patch for Emerald.
Anyone else can list some more?
Pretty sure all of them has already been listed
And I remember 1 GBC having a RTC
