I was reading this guide on how to downgrade 11.0 for 3ds once its hard moded of course https://www.reboot.ms/forum/threads/downgrade-3ds-11-0-to-9-2-using-hardmod.2403/.

Well long story short the guide says to use a device called fakeSD cable in order to read data between the 3ds sd card and the PC. But how would some one get a holed of such a device?

It's a cable which connects your 3DS NAND or eMMC to an SD reader so you can dump it on your PC.

Ask your hardmodder if you can get one with the mod (most do it anyway)

Unfortunately not.
Gaming companies try their best to prevent users from downgrading/hacking/installing unsigned code.
Downgrading a console is 99% of the times purely for piracy related purposes.

If you got your sysFW on 10.7, you can downgrade without a hardmod.
