Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

That's all for the moment, really. But since I never had one of those dual-screen thingumies before, I have quite a backlog to go through. By the time I'm bored with everything, there just has to be a decent 3D-ish game out there.

Hmm... I would say Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid, Mario Kart, Tales of the Abyss (if it gets to Europe), Kid Icarus and I still hope that one day Layton x Wright will be localised.

And I forgot Kingdom Hearts.

With the potential of the 3DS, a super smash bros. game is possible. I'm more doubtful about MM
I don't know. Nintendo has stuck to what looks like a predictable tradition. They've only released a Smash Bros. for each Home console starting with the n64.

I really hope I'm wrong, but from hat I've got figured out,
-the next Smash Bros. will be released on the system they're calling "project cafe"
-A Pokemon Grey Will be released for the 3DS (Just as Crystal did for the Gameboy Color)

and if OoT is coming to the 3ds then it's possible that MM can be done as well.

-Cave Story 3D.
-Super Mario 3D.

And especially the hypothetical (or should I say MANDATORY) Castlevania (I hope it will be 2D but with 3d effects).

EDIT: Let me add Pokemon, it's obvious everyone is looking forward for this game.

Right now I'm waiting on...

- Star Fox. I consider Lylat Wars one of my top five games of all time. Carrying it around in my pocket has been something I've been trying to achieve ever since I discovered emulators. I hope they include the original Starwing as an unlockable bonus, that'd be two things off my bucket list.

- Ocarina of Time. Despite being able to finish it without any thought whatsoever at this point, it's STILL one of the best games out there.

- F-Zero GX remake. If the 3DS doesn't see an F-Zero game then so help me I will fly to every Nintendo headquarters throughout the globe and kick every single person in every single building right between the eyes. It NEEDS to happen.

- Kid Icarus. The title that caught my eye when the 3DS was announced.

- Chocobo Racing. What happened to this? I've not heard anything for months. It's still on, right?

- The inevitable Metroid and Castlevania games. Super Metroid and Symphony of the Night style but with 3D effects for bosses and the like, colour that an epic win.

- For my idea of a Pokemon Snap AR game to become a reality. Seriously, what's the hold-up? Take the basic gameplay from Ghostwire or whatever it was called from the DSi where ghosts are superimposed over images from the external cameras and replace the ghosts with Pokemon. Try to photograph them all. Would tie in nicely with Nintendo's idea of getting people out of the house. You could use StreetPass to exchange photos. Give me one reason why that isn't a system seller. Incidentally as it was my idea, I'll take cash or cheque thanks, Ninty.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
