Hacking what folder do u place the new d2x v10 files?

im using d2x custom installer and I cannot find these files on my sd card within the app. which folder should I place them in>?

you extract them in the folder where you already have the installer.

apps/d2x installer folder/boot.dol <-- dol of the installer

in that same folder, you should have :
meta.xml
icon.png
ciosmap.xml <-- this file details which cIOS are available to the installer.

if you want to install v10, extract v10 into that folder, it will add a new subfolder (called v10) and will replace the ciosmap.xml with the new one.


If you find it too hard to do it (extracting a zip is not really hard, is it?), you can use this pre-made full pack I did :

I'm just trying to do abz setup .... Can u clarify they above for me thx . I wanna know what slots to install the two CIOS updates on

the common setup is :

slot 249 : d2x v8 Final or v10 r52, based on IOS56
slot 250 : d2x v8 Final or v10 r52, based on IOS57

57 has better compatibility than 56, so you really need only the one based on IOS57, so you could install it in slot 249 and that's all you'd need.
slot249 : d2x base57
