    What Is This

SetMiiUp, its basically an AIO tool, to go from Stock to Softmod in easily 10 minutes or less, depends on your connection speed.

    But why?

As easy as this sounds, everyday there are MANY newbies getting a New Wii, or a pre-softmod Wii with a very outdated setup, so this will basically make it up to date ;D.

What can I accomplish with this? / Do i really need it? / Can i use it?

Whit this you can accomplish several things, depending where do you start, as example:

    Starting From Stock

If you start from a Stock wii, you will have the ability to play backups, virtual console games, install wads, themes and so on at the end of the tutorial, you just need internet for this. as this will download the required files, it will install HBC, and install the needed ios, also update the old revision ios you got in your system.

    From an Incomplete Softmod

This will verify what you do need, using SysCheck.csv and generate an unique list of files using ModMii by xFlak according to your needs.[

    A Very Old Softmod

By using ModMii by xFLak, this will detect your system settings and ios revisions, which you can put here, or drag and drop them into ModMii to update your softmod without risk of bricking.

This is probably the best thing for people just getting into Wii modding. We definitely need something of the same caliber for other systems. Great work!

Hope that not sarcasm, lol, if not, than thank you!

For 3ds theres 3ds.guide, which i can easily make into a graphic layer interface if needed.

I made several minimal GUI's for WiiU tools that can be found somewhere on the forum, i like to minimize the work that needs to be done, using frontends or just graphic interfaces.

As example, this tool got buttons with direct downloads, feedback and suggestions are welcome.

Suggestion: why not making the tabs visible as steps are completed? (I think it looks cleaner that way)

tried that, as far as i understand c# cant hide tabs, since there are no controls for hide them. will see if i make something.

Actually that was the first thing i tried.. since it was the full idea, will see if i can implement that on rev 2.

Would be cool to implement it.
Also, do you deal with .7z files? Im having trouble finding a way to do it without the 7zip dll's

You can always uncompress the .exe plus the dll to the temp folder using UPX.

Yes you can, just start from the Step 2. System Check.

Ill add later a different tab to user who just want to update the softmod.

More than likely a false positive.. but why is Windows Defender viewing it as malware? o.O
