No "chip," Drive Doctor. Don't know who Tiktok & Botch are, but they've been on top of every problem within a few days, so I love it. It can be reset and reloaded by pressing a button, just in case its ever needed.

WiiD. It sucks, but Wiikey was out of stock when I bought it.
At least WiiD's not COMPLETELY dead, they did release a SMG update after 2 months and I suppose they'll release another update if another great 1st party game is released that won't work on it.

I voted for Cyclowiz but in fact I installed a socket on the back of my release day wii, so I had the option to upgrade without opening the wii. I fitted plugs to my wiinja V2 and cyclo and have never had any problems at all ;-)

i was gonna get a yaosm, but i can't solder and the guy i took it to said it would cost $80 just to solder it in so i bought a key-clip (clip on wiikey) and it's arriving on Saturday.

Like mercluke, I ordered a key-clip, a ATmega8 chip that you clip onto the dvd drive of your wii. It is programmable with many different firmwares, the most common being wiikey and Openwii. I am going to use it for a wiikey, so I voted wiikey.

Why? OpenWii is superior in every way to Wiikey
