I'm using USB Loader GX (most recent one I think) with a 1.5 TB Seagate hard drive that has been partitioned down into a 698 GB partition formatted into FAT32. Everytime that I try to dump my own games, it would go to an exception screen after it hits 100%. And then if I turn off the Wii and turn it back on and go back to USB Loader GX, it would have that same error. Any idea why that is happening?

I just updated my Wii to 4.2. Updated Hermes, cIOS rev14, and the USB 2.0 cIOS. Tried to update USB Loader GX and it says it's the latest version. Anything else I can do? I'm testing it again right now since I forgot about Hermes when I updated to 4.2.

EDIT: Nope... Still doesn't work.

EDIT2: It works now when I actually use a older version of it. I think I got r838 or something like that.

EDIT3: When I try to run the dumps, they won't work... Any idea?

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
