Hey guys, my usb loader crashed today. I can't read it anymore. Searching this forum I found several people using wwt successfully to fix their drives.

My problem is that wwt does not find my wbfs partition. I know it's in /dev/sdb1

This is the output I'm getting:

Code:
$ wwt analyse

ANALYZE /dev/sda

ANALYZE /dev/sda1

ANALYZE /dev/sda2

ANALYZE /dev/sda3

ANALYZE /dev/sda4

ANALYZE /dev/sda5

ANALYZE /dev/sda6

ANALYZE /dev/sdb

ANALYZE /dev/sdb1

Is my only solution to format?

Don't look at this as a setback, look at it as an opportunity

Now you can get rid of WBFS and format your drive with one big, happy FAT32 partition

The diagnostic told you:
Code:
!! wwt: Option --force must be set to formatting a WBFS!
!! wwt:ÂÂ => test mode (like --test) enabled!

# following that, use
wwt init --recover /dev/sdb1 --force
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ ^^^^^^^
You need --force because it's to easy to destroy any other file system with init
