i will see what can i do ...
hopfully i am able to salvage some info from the patch

Well... Found the source of the error code. It was a "patched" rom that I had downloaded.

Now... I got blackscreen when YSMenu finishes loading! Horray x_x/

Already solved it! Thanks zeromac for helping me out x3

After some investigation, i discovered something:
If you patch the game with certain hex codes (provided of this patch) , you can boot the game fine, without changing the ID, and here i have which hex codes you need to patch.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Code:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
ORIGINALÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ | PATCHED
------------------------------------------------------------------------
00007110 | 08 40 2D E9 4C E0 9F E5 | 00007110 | 01 00 A0 E3 1E FF 2F E1 |
------------------------------------------------------------------------
00007558 |ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ F0 47ÂÂÂÂÂÂ | 00007558 |ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ 08 40ÂÂÂÂÂÂ |

00007568 | 01 40ÂÂÂÂÂÂ 00 90 A0 E1 | 00007568 | 03 10ÂÂÂÂÂÂ 08 E0 8F E2 |

------------------------------------------------------------------------
00007928 | F8 43ÂÂÂÂÂÂ 4C 41 9F E5 | 00007928 | 08 40ÂÂÂÂÂÂ 00 30 A0 E1 |

00007938 | 01 40 A0 E1 02 60 A0 E1 | 00007938 | 08 E0 8F E2 00 30 9F E5 |

00007AC8 |ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ 08 40 2D E9 | 00007AC8 |ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ 00 00 A0 E3 |
00007AD0 | 60 00 9F E5ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ | 00007AD0 | 1E FF 2F E1ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ |
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Blank spaces are no changes in the hex code)

The result is: WarioWare D.I.Y.(U) UORE B95D9EDF (original ID) that can boot fine.
With this info, someone can insert all this, in a extinfo.dat, to make a clean WarioWare DIY playable without any patch.

I see thst if you open the orignal rom with hex edit , them numbers on the grid 00007558 are offsets in hex edit, and it tends to match with what you are saying

00007110 is your offset grid

then 00007558 - 00007580

X8 table in hex edit

Unpatched rom

Patched rom

With the grid layout spoiler abouth ^

I wonder could it be worked out like this for over games...

Now i will have a look at exinfo.dat with jap rom

are you using both the infolib.dat and the extinfo.dat from the new zip

will these patches work for a trimmed DIY rom?

e.g.
1) patch a rom using the patcher then trim it.
or
2) trim a rom then use the extinfo.dat without patching

EDIT:
Okay, confirmed to work for N5 + YSMenu (its an R4 clone).
Clean ROM + infolib.dat, extinfo.dat, savlib.dat (i didnt patch the rom anymore)
Creating a SAV for the first time file took quite a while. the generated SAV filesize is a whopping 32mb.

EDIT 2:
Trimmed rom is also working for N5 + YSMenu

I've just tested it, and yes you can use a trimmed rom with the extinfo.dat

Keep it up!!!

I must have messedup my file structor , with trying some experiments

So for those who are having problems , try formatting your micosd and re-install your kernal or ysmenu

this is great and all, that it works, but I'm more concerned about people saying there's a virus?

correct me if I'm wrong though.
