Ok, I've been running my WAD's from my SD card since they could be... but since I have a HD and quite a large one at that, I'd like to start running my WADs from there...

I've created a FAT32 partition, and a folder called 'wad'... but when I try to use WADManager 1.4, it gives me a Ret -1 error...

it's a 320 drive, with 1/4 of it as FAT32, and the rest WBFS

drive A: wbfs, drive B: fat32

no, they really aren't A and B, but that's the easiest way to tell you HOW it's partitioned...

Easiest way to tell how the HDD is partitioned, is to tell partition 0 is formatted as x and 1 is formatted as y.

Anyways, i'm not sure, but did your try all 4 combinations of usb 1.1 and usb 2.0 and the 2 ports? It could be that usb 1.1 only works with the top port, while usb 2.0 only works with the bottom one.

part0=WBFS
part1=fat32

I've tried all 4 diff configs

1.1 on top and bottom
2.0 on top and bottom

all 4 give me Ret-1

wbfs works fine as 2nd partition, that's something Waninkoko had in mind for wbfst. But every driver that should access filesystems on the 2nd partition has to be written to do that, and most people are lazy and don't write it.
