Well, would it work to have USBLoader GX run from the SD or USB stick (whichever one), and load the backups from the HDD? Or would I need to have USBLoader GX run from the HDD, but other homebrew run from the SD/USB stick?

EDIT: Is the Wii U and its homebrew all compatible with 3.0, Motion+ controllers (and the Wii U pad of course), etc?

You can mix-and-match content on your SD and USB, but it's better to have all homebrew on the SD. Compatibility on the Wii U is exactly the same as it is on the Wii. Quite trying to be cheap, invest a few bucks on an SD card.

hi,

i have this issue also

i select cios 249 press A and all freezes, i end up back in hbc.

if i select 250 i can continue but end up with error -1 reading sd card...
