Hacking Wad injection help: Game code and ":" in titles?

I had a (E) version of Master Quest which ran at 50fps, so I decided to get the 60fps (U) version.
The thing is that the (E) version's Game Code was "STFU" (no joke) and it's title was "Zelda: Ocarina"
Is there a way in which I can make a .wad with the same Game Code and use the ":" in the title?
In Injectuwad you can't use ":"s

In a nutshell, how do I create specific game codes for .wads and use colons/":"?
The final end result I want is a Master Quest (U) injected into an NTSC OoT Wad, title is "Zelda: Ocarina" and game code "STFU"

Is there a guide on hex editing .wads and are there specific programs I need?

If you want to change the Title ID for the wad as you see it being installed in wad manager, you will want:

"New VC Injector" : http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=92049

That app lets you change any .wad's title ID to anything you want. It has to be 4 characters, and is alphanumerical.

About Hex Editing:

It is pretty basic but you have to know what you're doing. It is tiresome while the apps make everything a lot easier.

So its best to go with apps
