So wait, what's the problem then with just installing the wads and moving them to an SD?

Is that a question to me in particular or more generally related to the other sub-topic going on in this thread? If directed to me, my primary issue right now is the system menu's four-page limit on channels.

It's to you. I'm talking about the SD card menu; aren't there like 20 pages to scroll through? That should be more than enough space. I had a 16gb SDHC a while back with a wad count not much smaller than yours, if not bigger.

I have the things installed, to the vWii system itself. The ones not on the system menu, I simply cannot find anywhere that will allow me to launch them. When I go into the Wii menu and choose the Channels option, the only options I have for the installations there are Move, Copy, Erase. I don't have a spare SD card to dedicate to my Wii atm, as it's in use by my 3DS (rather, the adapter I need for the microSD is needed).

Ah, I see. EmuNAND would be a solution for sure, although I don't have any experience with it and just from what I've seen it's the more complicated option. Personally, I would just get a second SD card for a few bucks on amazon and dedicate it to the vWii. It's also just generally useful to have when you're doing homebrew-related stuff. From there, you can move the channels to the SD via the wii settings menu. To launch the wads from the SD, however, you will need to install patched IOS80 for vWii. If you go this route, please read this first. Always make sure you know what you're doing when messing with IOS, as carelessness can lead to a bricked vWii.

Information on patching IOS80 can be found here.

But because I'm not an expert on this stuff, I would wait for someone to confirm my suggestion before moving forward ;)
